Can ANYONE help me? My children will not eat the fat with their chops, they hide it when Papa and I are not looking, and put it in the rubbish. HOW CAN I KEEP THEM HEALTHY? I am driven to despair.

It may interest you to know that the weather is getting warmer and warmer. I foresee that fairly soon, we won't even have winter in this country at all. By about 1947 it will be a thing of the past.

Good thing they figured out a way to boost the octane rating, it's really improved life for us motorists.

The Sino/Japanese conflict needs watching. However it will remain a limited affair. If the Japanese empire tries to go beyond China then they will suffer a huge setback from the British, French and Dutch who will be more than able to protect there interests

The Japanese will also be afraid of the US and would not dare carry out any action that would entangle them in a conflict with the USA

Limerick are killing hurling. Shure look at the size of that Mackey fella he is practically a professional athlete and the way he runs around with the sliotar on the hurley is a joke not real hurling at all. If we don't do something now the game will be unrecognizable from the egg and spoon race

You mean the lad who was obsessed with the Dardanelles in the Great War? Quite unfit for office. Chamberlain is doing a top job. Didnt he negotiate the grand peace treaty last year with Herr Hitler?

Anyway if Chamberlain did go he be replaced by Lord Halifax. There is no circumstances where that windbag Winston Churchill will be allowed to become PM. Even if he did he lose any bit of a war that will happen like his mess up in the Dardanelles

While I have my reservation's about Herr Hitler and there is some disquiet about his treatment of the Jewish people( all made up I say and a thing of nothing) he is build Germany up into a peace loving and peacefull country.

Why would he cause any problems he have a hard job invading France defended as it is by the Maginot line. He be send running by the French Army by themselves with his tail between his legs

The British army would help out too. Not that they’d be needed of course.

If a war happened, the Royal Navy will clear the seas of German ships and no doubt. All the Kriegsmarine has is a pair of battle cruisers and few heavy cruisers but they DO have a stonking great big newly built battleship.
That’s it. The couple of submarines the jerries have are coastal defence

Hms Courageous and Glorious to use their airplanes locate any ships and bring in the fleet

The Territorial army may suffer small setback at the start but when it goes on the offensive it will mop old Jerry, after all we have tanks now and know how to use them.
