Have you had any problems roaming in UK. I can only receive calls and data but can not make calls roaming in central London on EE Network. Go mo suggested it MAY be that I barred international calls. Obviously I have roaming switched on when I'm receiving data while there.

I had same problem in Belfast.

Go mo were of no assistance.

    Go mo is great otherwise

I was there in Feb, no issues making or taking calls.

Tried the hash/pin as recommended above but no joy, just hear a beep then nothing after. Hopefully FB messenger support are more of a help tomorrow

Hit the haah key when you hear your own greeting then your PIN?

    Got it working..

    Had to call 0035308x5xxxxxxx
    Then #pin

I was trying to call 171 originally with the #pin but didn't work

This is one of the few things I pay for where I actually enjoy receiving the bill, bargain alert of the decade.

For sure I ditched VM broadband for a GoMo SIM in a 4g router & haven't looked back as the 80Gb is plenty for what I use it for. Save ~€50 per month. My second GoMo SIM is in the phone which is the same I was paying Tesco except now I get an extra 79Gb over their deal!

Why are people still paying this other phone companies if out of contract?

I'm a little surprised at the positivity. I can't argue with the 9.99 and have been on it for a year or so but if I'm moving around the city I find the internet intermittent at best - no prob with calls etc. If i'm static its reasonable enough.

Maybe 'tis my 60 quid Alcatel!

I have a similat experience on my 500 quid Samsung, it's not your phone. All the same I still think €9.99 is a great deal, am very happy I moved.

Definitely sounds like your phone to be fair, no issues here on a Pixel 4XL

I don't get many signal problems really in most of the city, Blanch seems to be a bit of a hole signal wise but still get a H signal usually!

I was camping in the back arse of Wicklow and struggled with intermittent signal, but for where I was camped it was to be expected on literally the other side of a mountain where I guess the signals were blocked as we were in a bowl type thing...

No issues with coverage here in Galway county. Have travelled from Galway city to West Mayo with YouTube on and very few breaks in 4g, any spots were where I'd have had issues with other providers in the past. There may be capacity issues in built up areas mind.
Phone is 80 euro piece of kit

Laziness as its 'too hard to move' probably.

Same reason people don't change other utility providers.

It is the same with most utilities. People don't shop around. I do the gas/leccy every year. Virgin media every year ( currently on 9 months half price again, 3 months full price) and car insurance also.

I don't shop around the mobile as gomo is pretty much unbeatable, but 48 appears to be getting better and worth keeping an eye on.

Does anyone know if you cancel all Voicemail diverts using code ##002# can you activate it again using a code or do you need to contact GoMo?

To activate voicemail diverts press :

    **61*08X5XXXXXXX#

    **62*08X5XXXXXXX#

    **67*08X5XXXXXXX#

The # is example put in if your number is 087 or 085 etc then after the 5 put the rest of your mobile number example 087 5 1234567

    Thanks, but what's with the 61, 62, 67 parts?

I always thought that putting the 5 before your number only allowed you to access your mailbox not activate the service?

I signed up to gomo on 29 april, they took 14.99 from my account. Then again today they took 14.99. is this normal?

Yes, you are billed per calendar month.

Late to the party myself I’m on the 12.99 deal, working perfectly, first bill was issued earlier this week and money was taken today, all very positive for me.

I've been with them since the beginning and still no issues, same as the service was with Eir. As long as your area has coverage it will be fine. I've honestly never had trouble with any network, Eir lost data connection one evening a few years ago for a while. Apart from that I can't remember any issues.

Oh, you slipped up there, I signed up on the 1st of the month having read about people being caught like you, it's a bit of a sickener really.

So I've just switched to GoMo from Vodafone. The only issue I have is that although I can send texts to everyone, I'm not receiving texts back from certain people, it seems maybe Vodafone customers. Anyone have this issue and how can I resolve?

I've also been with them since the beginning and have had no issues whatsoever. A great deal for €9.99 per month!

And same here, not a single problem and yet another FAO thread mentioning issues with 2fa, authentication texts where I believe are actually the senders are at fault or users are inadvertently blocking these texts in their device settings.

Never had any issues with gomo. Myself and missus both on the 9.99 for life. Never once been let down.

Myself and my wife are on GoMo too - have found it brilliant. No issues.

My daughter might be getting her first phone this summer and will add her to GoMo too....is there a "family" option that all bills from a single house are combined into a single bill? I thought I saw something like this offered as an option a couple of months back from GoMo themselves but dont see any reference to it now on their site.

We pay for 3 Sims under 1 account, not sure is that what you are asking.

Got 2 of them on original offer of €9.99 and third one at next price up €12.99, great value!

Use 1 of the Sims in an old phone for mobile hotspot and works quite well most of the time..

Wonder how long our 9.99 rate will be safe with the way things are going everywhere else...
