I posted in my thread reply by mail and waited for a week to see it added only to get a letter back from the mods with a card and saying the reply has been binned as it doesn't meet their standards.
I've lost two weeks waiting to make my point, isn't there a better way?

But he also killed the man who killed Hitler so it balances out.

How far do these motor cars go before you have to put "fuel" in them anyway? A lad I know said this "fuel" is actually explosive - only a matter of time before we have cars exploding in the street. I'll stick to my horse thanks

In 1939 of course it would men.

    You have been banned

    Dear Kermit.de.frog,

You have been banned from Boards permanently for ignoring a moderator's instructions.

Discussion can become heated, we don't object to that, but when a moderator issues a warning on a thread to reign things in, it stops a heated discussion from turning into a mess.

For more information please refer to your local parish priest and church for guidance or the Boards.ie "Myself and my Faith" Boards FAQ.

If you wish to appeal this ban you can see details on how to do so here.

    The McQuaid

    Moderator Note

you are banned, we don't accept such blasphemous behaviour here

There'll be a lot of Hail Marys for the one.

Probably have to complete a Novena Grace to get that ban lifted.

I heard Croke Pork are monitoring boards and posting on the association football, cricket or rugby thread gets you banned from the GAA. And I dont just mean the boards forum!

Radio Eireann is rubbish and not worth the licence fee.

How often do have a bath?

Laurel & Hardy, Marx Brothers & Charlie Chaplin are not funny.

    Boards.ie 1939:

"I got the trolley car out as far as Kingstown yesterday and there were inner-city street urchins eating apples they stole from the greengrocers. This would not be tolerated in any other society. We need a strong leader like that Adolf chap in Germany to clean the SCUM off our public thoroughfares."

Stillorgan? Jesus. It's so sad when you hear of people having to move down the country like that. I even know of one person who ended up having to buy a house in Cabinteely. They'll regret that when they're commuting for over half an hour every morning.

I wonder will that little moustache become fashionable in the next few years?
