I nearly wet myself laughing at the Sum 41 chat today but the outro with Murph feebly singing "In Too Deep" layered over the original was gold

Can't believe Ken had never heard of Sum 41, almost as bad as your man Tomas Ryan saying he didn't know who Messi was on Dunphy's podcast.

Looking forward to the review of Leinster's loss to La Rochelle on tomorrows show, especially the thoughts of Shane 'Leinster are the greatest team to ever play rugby union' Horgan.

Possibly the only person who ever looked forward to a shane horgan section.

    Sum 41 aren't the worst.

Was nice to hear some vaguely positive chat about Snooker.

Their content is based on their own views and what they think their subscribers want to hear about, not what sponsors or owners would prefer. They are independent in their direction, and that direction is influenced only by the people who subscribe to their product.

I did think of Ken when Glenn Hoddle felt the need to praise Lampard moments before the final whistle last night.

I think Chelsea are where they are in spite of Lampard rather than because which shows the quality of the squad assembled. I thought the reference was to Frank the dog as per the first reply :pac:

I rember there was someone (might have been a book)on second captains arguing that a manager doesn’t make that much of a difference, that it is all about the quality of the players. I think Lampard has proven that to be false. I have never seen a change in manager make such a big difference.

I fear the Lions rugby chat when the whole thing gets going :(

I went to the chelsea subreddit, it's funny, lots of Chelsea fans saying shít like if they win Lampard should get a medal. Their love for lampard is scary

In fairness as a player he was a genuine legend for them, so it's not surprising they want to hold onto that and give him a bit of a free pass. Remember these are the same fans that decided a Europa League trophy was worth **** because they wanted Benitez gone. And that was only a decade after they started winning things regularly. Not the most reasonable bunch.

But some of his buddies in the media have been pathetic since his sacking. Not that it's surprising on BT as nearly all of their pundits are ex team mates of his and rubbish at their jobs.

I like rugby but the Loyuns is one hell of a load of hyped up commercialised crap in my opinion

Also, considering the John Terry full kit w*nker episode, you’d think they’d be a little more conscious of the perception of who receives winners medals ...

I f'kin hate the way the Lions is hyped up

It is quite literally the biggest load of crap ever

    I'm partial to your abracadabra,

I'm raptured by the joy of it all.

Whatever about Shane Horgan but Gordan Darcy is beyond a joke.

Shane Horgan is like Roy Keane compared to how much a sycophant Darcy is.

It’s the absolute commitment to calling every single player by their nickname that breaks my heart.

Which means it's presumably very Lions focused, with a bit on Man Utd.

I'm ok with that. Just I like to listen whilst working - and the park and a few cans are calling if they don't upload it soon!

I think Rugby as a private school sport seems to have produced carbon copies of the same corporate middle management types.

Should just let Simon take the helm of the rugby coverage.

Himself and Eoin today were as if not more interesting than any previous rugby segment.

I watched the video of the Spanish presenter following Real's exit from the CL - SC played his opening report on Thursday's pod, it was all about Hazard.

"He looks like Michael Parkinson fell into a vat of Brylcream" was an absolute bang-on description of the man.
