I think Maguire, AWB and Bruno have a good chance of starting all 3.

I think the selection tomorrow night will tell a alot.

Maguire and Henderson the most likely to start all 3 i think. Telles is likely to start at least one instead of Shaw i'd wager. AWB a good shout but he could put Axel or someone out there for a game too.

If i didn't already have a gk with a DGW i'd deffo be bringing Henderson in.

Would like a Utd def but already have Cavani Greenwood and Bruno. 2ft. Surely best to just stick with what I've got?

Would be crazy to transfer a united player out to bring in another. May even be best to bank one of the transfers to manage BGW36

Also the risk with United of more fan protests leading to further postponements. Or do you think that’s unlikely?

I think they’re more prepared for the possibility now and will take precautions but it isn’t impossible.

    Williams

Does he not usually play on the left - as is behind Shaw/Telles?

Had thought about that - but were would the games go otherwise - i would the police/pl will be making sure the players can get to the stadium safely and the crowds can't get to the stadium

Big hit incoming, no Pool and only Bruno from United.

I realised about half way through the season that I had accidentally owned no United players. I had tried to get some players in at a few times but injuries & game postponements due to COVID meant I had other fires to fight. And tbh I didn't think the Shaw points were sustainable etc.

It then got me thinking of yer man Magnes Carlson who had got top 10 or something one year without owning TAA & Robbo on their big runs so I said feck it, I would try and replicate that in some sort of way. And pure stubborness to be very honest.

This triple game week is REALLY testing me as I am quite close in my main ML in a 4 way battle and all my rivals are heavily invested in United players.

He’s naturally right footed so can play both RB and LB.

Any update on lacazettes injury anywhere ? 50% to play but I'm interested in punting given my current backwards slide and with him playing at home to west Brom as part of their double, I think he could be a nice differential

    Son/Bale against Leeds hmmm

Both Son and Kane got an assist in the reverse fixture in GW17.

Right footed and would be seen as back up for AWB this year, but Ole hasn't shown much belief in him as a deputy there this season.

The lack of a GW36 wouldn't be edging me towards that punt.

    Whispers..... Theo Walcott :)

Free Hit active before MU 3rd game confirmed.

    Dont mind
11 players and subs with a min of 2 games.
Good to have this time of season in mini leagues.

Headaches start now over team selection

Tbf, people like me with 3 United players were shafted last gameweek, so this is just make-up time.

I’m gonna go for a few punts for my 2FT’s, have a bit of ground to make up...

    Alonso and Bowen out
    Lindelof and Zaha in

How vital is Bruno? My only way to get him is to sell Salah or Son.

Alternatively, I can do Gundog > Greenwood and Lowton > Ward for -4.

Leeds have really improved defensively though, especially at home. Will be interesting to see how that game pans out.

Id wait to see how Bruno plays tomorrow night, he was excellent in the first leg v Roma but hasnt being returning FPL wise for a few weeks now. If he plays well tomorrow Id still fancy him to outscore Son across two or maybe even three fixtures to Sons one v Leeds.

Yeah Leeds have tightened up against the big teams. In four games v City, Chelsea, United and Liverpool they got two clean sheets and conceeded only two goals. If that trend continues they might be able to shut Spurs out.

Delighted with the news today as I’m FHing in 36

Question now is whether to get Salah or Mane in

    Either would require a hit
    Probably
    Lingard -> Mane/Salah
    Azpi -> Dann for a -4

    Is it worth it though?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,124 ✭✭✭markc91

Have gotten an 80 point lead in my ML down to 16 after a great few weeks and here i am considering a -12 to have 8 DGWs & 3 TGWs

Would have to take a -4 next week to get 11 starters...

    Am I mad?

Definitely don’t sell Salah for him in my opinion. Salah is guaranteed to play both games (barring injury), is aiming for golden boot and has top 4 as a target.

Bruno is likely to be rested for one game so may not get any more minutes than Salah, and Uniteds main focus for the rest of the season is the Europa league final. Almost impossible for them to finish anywhere but second now.

Son makes more sense I think, although I can see Spurs scoring a few at Leeds.

I read somewhere that Zaha is a doubt.

Forgot Liverpool had a double. Sh1t. Will be keeping Salah anyway. Everyone has Son in my main leagues so may keep him. A lot will depend on tomorrow’s game indeed.

Thinking I might bank and have the two free transfers for sorting out my team for the bare game week. Fernandes is my only player with a triple game week but I only have Son and Kane with a single game in my current starting team. If I use my free transfer to bring in a Man. Utd player I will probably end up dropping Son or Kane and the one I leave out will inevitably get a double digit score while the Man. Utd. player I bring in gets a rest and does not score much. Considering Semedo to Wan Bissaka or Lingard to Greenwood but still think having the two free transfers next week could set me up to adjust things better for the last few games. Any opinions appreciated.

In a similar situation and I have Mendy who has a blank next week. Banking and having two transfers next week seems more likely to produce better returns. Think I will captain Bruno and leave it at that.

Is Siggys place under threat with James returning? Thinking of getting him and Digne in as their fixtures look good. I'd probably be captaining Siggy too as I don't have Bruno.

I’m chasing so don’t mind a hit to be different and some players that are a gamble

    - 12
    Martinez - Henderson
    TAA - Lowton
    Lingard - Mane
    KDB - Rashford

    Henderson
    Shaw Lowton Philips
    Sterling Rashford Mane Bale Jota
    Vardy Watkins

    Sanchez Coufal Alioski Wood

Gives me 22 games this week possibly, with 11 next week also before any transfers
    Any feedback?
