Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rammstein are flogging off some almost out of date beer in their merch shop.

    https://shop.rammstein.de/en/catalog/beer-rammsteiner-best-before-june-2021.html?products_id=2146{29}292

Price is not too bad considering how much their branded stuff usually costs.

12x 500ml bottles of RAMMSTEINER = €29 delivered. €17 fr the beer = €12 UPS delivery to Ireland.

Am tempted but Im sure I would get stung for customs/import duty.

That's the snag. The weight would give it away.

I doubt you'd be charged customs or import duty since it's coming from Germany. If that were the case then all merch would be subject to that.

Yes but surely alcohol takes a special place in the revenue commissioners heart.

    Haha it's possible!

As mentioned above, were the Belfast ticket sales poor?

It's amazing if so, their 3 Arena gig was widely reported as being phenomenal (I thought it was 10/10 myself).

Surely ticket sales couldn't have been that bad for Belfast? Would the ****ty venue have impacted that much I wonder?

It would have sold on the day but the on off nature of it sound have slowed sales

Us mere mortals will never know, and reports of the 3arena gig are wildly conflicted.

Anyone gonna give Cardiff a shot? Im thinking about it. Never been. Hard to plan flights and that at this stage.

I went to Cardiff once, to see Rammstein no less.
It's a fine town for a gig alright, but these are different times.

Booked the tickets (for 2022) as soon as I found out they were playing there.
Was booked for the 2 postponed / cancelled Belfast gigs, cautiously optimistic that there'll be some bit of normality in time for the gig.

I used to live in Cardiff (10 years ago) and loved the place!

Nice one thanks chaps. Gonna go ahead and do that. Might fly to Bristol and make a weekend out of it. Don't fancy a ferry after a few nights on the beers ☺️

I'm still massively bitter over the Belfast gig being cancelled after getting 2 x FeuerZone tickets.

i know. the only gig cancelled makes for extra bitterness, while some cities getting extra dates...

A friend of mine wants me to go to the Amsterdam gig but the Feuerzone tickets are completely sold out. I'm not too keen on going for normal standing area tickets.

I presume Feuerzone is standing, but closer?

    Same.

    It's FeuerZone or nothing.

I've seen them twice. Seated and standing. Still worth it. Didn't get right up to the Feuerzone but a fantastic gig all the same.

    Why? Their show is huge.
You actually stand to miss more the closer you are.

Definitely, I always prefer to be around the middle at a Rammstein show, you get a far better veiw of the stage and are not constantly having to strain your neck looking up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,121 ✭✭✭✭Jimmy Bottlehead

I've seen them from a distance, the gig was great but I've done that. I want the up close, singed eyebrows experience next time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,854 ✭✭✭✭MetzgerMeister

I was front row in front of Till at the Dublin gig. That's what I want again.

There's still a few tickets left for the Cardiff show, but they are to the extreme left of the stage and pretty far back. I would prefer to be in the centre but at this stage I'll take what I can get!

Not quite what I would have expected as the lead single, but really enjoying Zeit

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Track list has been leaked but its officially being released here. Find a time capsure, get tickets and a trip to a concert.

Going by the final track name, I think this could well be the end :(

Album is out now if you know where to look.

It seems the OK on track 6 stands for Ohne Kondom 😂

I see it's 25 Euro for it on standard CD, their last one was expensive too, not even 2 discs or fancy packaging or something.

Will give it a listen in the next few days.

New dates for 2023, including Belfast and Wembley Stadium 🤯

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,159 ✭✭✭Royale with Cheese

Thank fúck for that, was devastated when they cancelled the Belfast show. Just need to be on the ball for Feuerzone tickets again, god knows what they'll cost this time round.

No official 2023 tour announcement yet apparently. Let's hope somebody just jumped the gun there and those are the actual dates.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,509 ✭✭✭Shred

I've had the new album on repeat for the past 10 days and I'm loving it; Angst - what a monster of a fúcking tune! Honourable mention to Dicke Titten too 🤣

I was delighted to see the reports of a 2023 tour earlier in the week, raging to see it's apparently not true but hopefully this is a leak of an upcoming announcement as you said Royale.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,990 ✭✭✭Cool_CM

Sorry for jumping the gun on that one! Less than a month until Berlin - its a bucketlist gig and I cannot f<cking wait! Signed up for the meet and greet on LIFAD, would be hilarious if it happened 😂

Remaining tickets for 2022 on sale now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,509 ✭✭✭Shred

Cheers for that 👍️ Berlin btw - you lucky sucker!

Oh man, I'd really love to get over for one of the gigs on the tour. I was trying to convince my wife, but it's really awkward for us in terms of getting kids minded etc. I looked at it multiple times recently and was considering all sorts of planes, trains and automobiles options for Cardiff or Prague on my own (which were the only 2 suitable ones really)...but it's just not really doable.

Scratch that - I've just booked tickets for Cardiff 💪💪💪

I'd say that somebody definitely jumped the gun based on nothing else other that the fact that that they're not playing Dicke Titten live yet 😁

Yeah it’s such a pity, that chorus is so anthemic; you could easily imagine Till conducting the audience as everyone bellows it out! Another great video too 😆

I ordered some stuff from the official store a few weeks back; the order was split into 2 but both packages "shipped" at the same time. I received one a week later, expecting both to arrive together, I then noticed the tracking for the 2nd package hadn't updated - the Rammstein shop says it shipped, Fedex say they never got it.

I've used the shop webform to query it and sent them an e-mail a couple of days after (as per the instructions in the order e-mail - I still got an auto reply saying "use the web form" 🙄) with no response whatsoever and it's been about 5 days; anyone know how to get in touch with them? The shop phone number just plays a recorded message and hangs up (in German, likely "use the web form" again!).

The order finally arrived; it had been dispatched by regular post rather FedEx…I had sent another follow up to the shop with still no reply; this isn’t the first time this has happened with one of my orders (last time 2017), they really need to sort out their communications…or lack thereof!

It was as great as you think it was 😂

Pretty much the exact same show as 2019 (with a few song changes) and it was class to get to see the same show from all the way back and up close. Both are ridiculously great, but there is so much going on onstage (facial expressions and general messing) that you'd miss! 😂

Just missed catching Richard's autograph when they went across on the boats - the dude next to me jumped higher. And got completely destroyed by the penis cannon during Pussy. It was fúcking amazing!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,509 ✭✭✭Shred

Nice one! I haven't seen them since the 3 arena in 2012 so this show will be relatively new to me, bar some bits and pieces on youtube...I'm up in the gods a good bit back from the stage on the right side of the Principality stadium...It's great that the stage is open on all sides so none of the restricted views you'd typically have at a stadium gig, but I'd much prefer to be somewhere on the pitch, beggars can't be choosers though! 11 days to go 💪
