First time listening in long time yesterday, but first time listening since two people have moved.
Current sent up is miles better.
I didn't mind it too much.

Now mine was a small sample time couple of hours, but I've being on 2fm or today FM alot lately so I found Nova refreshing.

I refuse to tune into Nova between 6.00 and 10.00am. I just find the "shared show" format a load of sh**e.

We turned Nova on in work there recently after getting a bit too fed up with all the other pop stations. Still a bad pop station , but better than the others it has to be said. As for the breakfast show, jaysus, more listenable than Lucy but the two are still a right ol’ bunch of boring arse’s. Hayes was more engaging than the two of them imo. Marty’s still a breath of fresh air immediately afterwards.

As for the current Saturday Soundtrack with Greg at the realm, I’ve listened a couple of times recently and I think it’s gone a hell of a lot more stale now compared to when he started it. He’s a man with knowledge for sure, but now he’s just playing more commercial stuff than he ever did tbh. Gotten sick of it unfortunately. Oh well, hopefully when the gigs return so will Peter Devlin.....

I think they need a new weather sponsor. Those "Queowsh Devil dawt oy ee" ads are just grating and if I wanted to hear D4 accents I'd listen to SPIN or something.

    Does anybody agree with me?

Maybe because of the negative response to the shows he did for them, "I'm an Adult... Get Me Out of Here!" and "Sharp Dressed Men". I wouldn't blame them

I remember John Maguire got very defensive when being interviewed by Richard Curran on Radio 1s "The Business" during the recession, when Richard suggested that he and the "I'm an adult ..get me outta here" TV programme encoraged young people to take on debt for property they couldn't afford.

They ran some "greatest guitar songs of the 90s" thing today, talk about boring and clichéd , "seriously predictable music" comes to mind.

They are going downhill again fast.

IF Nova listeners think those are the 10 Greatest Guitar Songs Of The 90's, then absolute yikes.

They just broadcast these things, I've never heard of them asking listeners to vote beforehand.

"We've given Ed Sheeran the heave ho..."

...and yet I heard Tom Walker earlier.

Started listening in the car after RTE Gold went off DAB.

So far it's not too bad apart from a slight issue with poor signal around here and a huge issue with that pair of idiots called PJ and Jim in the mornings. They are a disaster.

Not anywhere as bad as the wastes of oxygen that preceded them!

I like those songs but I think Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots deserve to be on a list of 90s guitar riffs.

Good Lord back to the pronunciation gaffs again. 1 o'clock sports news mentioned Pep Gwar dole ia, Pariss Saint Jermayne and Rotterdam (Rotherham).

Are they still using work experience news/sports readers??

I don't think any "rock songs of the 90s" countdown is complete without at least one PJ song.

    Joke of a station.

I agree. However it could be argued that STP and AIC didn't have any guitar riffs that would be instantly recognized or iconic. To a wider audience. I love them both.
A RATM song should definitely be in there and Enter Sandman has to be as well. Also November Rain.
