Jesus christ the embedded video is actually real, I thought it was pisstake within a pisstake.

The world has gone utterly nuts.

If you showed a person from 2019 this they would swear this was a disease that was actually dangerous to the majority of the population.

You're right, the user is a Trump supporter, therefore everything they say is invalidated completely and that video is a great video, the person is not mentally ill or anything and he is correct, Fauci is a god.

Being a "Trump Supporter" is the least of her problems, it's a symptom.

But lets get outraged over some kid singing a song.

    148 in hospital yesterday
    47 of those in ICU

286 permanent ICU beds in the country (so 16% occupancy with Covid)

    > 1.4 million doses administered

We still need certain restrictions in place (masks, 2M, limit indoor numbers etc) for the forseeable but come on?????

It's in the program for government that MUP pricing would be brought in.at the same time as Northern Ireland

Now we're jumping the gun and going it alone

Price rises with MUP are going to be significant and we've already amongst the most expensive alcohol in Eurooe before this

If those examples you give increase then the premium brands are going to increase too no doubt

1 litre of vodka @40%abv for €20 will be a thing of the past, more like €32.

A bottle of wine @13%abv will be at least €7.80

A pint/can of Guinness cannot be sold for less than €2.05

Well yeah, you could say that kid is a symptom of a fear and hysterical media driven campaign, probably wears his mask hiking alone and thinks anyone who doesn't is a "granny killer" ...

I haven't looked at that twitter account so I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't have a Twitter account and I don't follow anyone.

I saw a funny tweet linked somewhere so I shared it.

Don't you know you've to do a full background check on someone and their extended family and associates before you can share a tweet of theirs? FFS

But this is what these people do to smear valid points, attack the source.
If the sun newspaper claimed water is wet these people would just howl about the Sun not being a trustworthy source so it can't possibly be true.

Ah Boggles has a point here to be fair. Further down that account there's a link to an article called "The Battle for Humanity" about how vaccines are going to alter our DNA from a website called stop world control. It's a bit beyond just "Trump Supporter".

I 100% agree that that above is complete and absolute nonsense, but judge the video for what it is - judge it for that and that alone!!

Hard to blame the individuals. Propaganda was always designed for, and most effective on, educated midwits.

(That's from Chomsky's linguistics work btw, so if you're looking for a reason to dismiss it: he's disdainful of both capitalism and Marxism, so you should be able to come up with something).

Wouldn't be the first time you have shared things with a similar theme.

A vaccination campaign during a pandemic?

But the person tweeting about vaccines being a bio weapon is legit?

The threads veil is slipping every day.

No, just the ones who mindlessly file things into "safe" or "unsafe" categories based solely on what the man on the telly says.

Who is this "man on the telly" that some here believe everyone is listening to?

Funny thing is the only references of this seem to come from here - where it would seem those actually listening to this "man on the telly" are those screaming about him?

But as someone here said ... can't quite remember who ;)

You may wish to check the local news as of this morning - outside bars and restaurants open on the 15th May. 4th May for shopping malls, 8th May for hotels. Indoor hospitality/gyms and most everything else open on the 29th May.

Outdoor mask mandate likely to be scrapped on May 15th

    I stand corrected.
But I don't believe the mask mandate yet, can't find a link confirming it anyway

Paul Treyvaud from Treyvaud’s Restaurant in Killarney, was on Neil Prendeville this morning on Red FM talking about hospitality. He's opening his restaurant on July 1st for indoor dining regardless of what is on the roadmap.

He made some fantastic points and the one you couldn't argue with -- we know and have been told that outdoor transmission is minuscule. If that's the case, then why are the government not letting outdoor dining happen, and are instead saying "we'll talk about hospitality in June"??

Neil went to compare us to India which was annoying but he largely agreed with him.

Mm I live in Warsaw so I'm curious where you've heard this?
Restaurants have been fully shut since October, retail is pretty much closed (just like in Ireland) they've had a disastrous vaccination programme and have the highest inflation rate in the EU.
Not to mention they also sporadically introduced restrictions on leaving the worst regions which has been on and off.
Just saying, Poland isn't a poster child here.

Friend in Wroclaw just text me “ Morning all, just got some good news from the local government......so shops and malls are opening on Monday. From 15th, no masks and restaurants are opening for outdoor dining!”

Is Paul's kitchen and work spaces outside?

Can Paul regulate what happens before his diners arrive and after?

Just because Paul or the DJ couldn't articulate an argument doesn't mean there wasn't one.

I'm not sure why it "begs the question".

I am reading lots of off-mainstream stuff all the time, as is my wont.

A few months ago I posted a letter from a Greek Orthodox monk who lives on a top of a mountain.

Paul has to block off a man street to facilitate outdoor dining.

Paul also stated correctly that they have done a fantastic job of making their place a controlled environment, with zero cases coming from their restaurant when indoor dining was allowed.

Did you listen to the piece? Might be handy!
