Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Am looking at a couple of cars one from R Nearys in Gorey Wexford and another’s from N2 Autos Dublin.

Anyone have any knowledge of any of these. Feel I like its a mine field out there with dealers. Any help greatly appreciated

Or Is there a site I can get independent review.

    Thanks

Not particularly. If they don’t even carry out €5 history checks what else are they skimping on? And how many other clocked/crashed cars have they sold without the customer finding out

Dealers dont generally carry out paid history checks on every car sure. They refunded and redressed the customer. Id be happy with that as a customer and reading their reply would actually make me more likely to deal with them. I have absolutely no connection with them btw, other than seeing their stiock on donedeal from time to time

If you say so boss. Go on their lowest reviews on Google there, some real peaches in there.

Is N2 Autos the same as N2 Car Sales in Dublin 11?

Looking at a car on their site but can't seem to find much in the way of independent reviews or much detail about them. Dodgy?

From my own experience on dealing with this garage I would stay clear from them completely and nearys in Dublin their linked I just put a review of my experience I bought an x5 from them in may

Out of interest, would you always expect every dealer to know if a car they are selling has been repaired? I would guess if they had any sort of car knowledge, or employ at least a competent mechanic, then they would know ok?

Nearys one of those dealers that shot up over night with flashy cars - talk about drawing attention to yourself.

unless the car is listed as damaged repaired -a dealer wouldnt necessarily spot a wellrepaired car -thats why repairs so expensive
