Is this the same housemate who was doing all this and more last March? You need to move.

Many of the over 70s haven't been touched in my village and local community. I had to make an appointment at the GP the week before last and they were only just touching on the late 70 group like 75 to 79 but not even all of them. My mother in law is 76 and we are hoping she will be in the next round of vaccines.

It's not surprising to me. Healthcare workers and residential homes were so important to work on first. It's a new vaccine and there's going to be a wait for vaccine.
Many people think the Taoiseach can click his fingers and all over 70s are vaccinated like magic. People just need to be patient.

I'm hearing of people now phoning the GPS surgery on a weekly basis to see where they are on the vaccine list. I would consider that to be harassment instead of allowing the surgery to get on with the work they have to do. They have to do work outside of covid too. Anybody who is harassing a GP surgery for vaccine should be moved to the back of the queue and waiting line.

Says someone who has had the vaccine.

Does anyone know if there's anywhere I can report someone for breaking covid restrictions?

Or do we not allow that in Ireland?

Mind my own business. Can I mind my own health, is that ok with you?

Can you talk to them? It would be far far better for you both if you can sit down and have a chat about it.

This attitude is reason why it's spreading.

All that is spreading is non compliance.

I know not everyone is Leo's fan but I thought this was very good (and positive)
This is a super presentation, optimistic and realistic also. I agree with you, the government needs to present this to the population.

Not with Cohort 4 which has apparently been started, I will keep phoning them and messaging them until I know my place in the vaccination queue for Cohort 4. Or until this damn online portal gets up and running.

Good news about the virus really only transmittable indoors, like most other respitory illness, means most outdoor activities are pretty safe , its indoors where care is needed :-

I never harassed my GP weekly to get vaccine though. Doctors and GPs are busy. People shouldn't be phoning them weekly to see where they are with vaccines.

The fact you posted it on a message board rather than using any number of other ways hardly shows you were genuinely looking for information. Just trying to get a rise. Probably thread rules on that sort of thing, might report you.

And here in Ireland we have guards going through parks clearing people.

Do we have guards going through parks clearing people?

Sounds fairly dramatic can you put up a link to that?

Not sure why NPHET did not give up this game-changing information months ago at ther daily news conference , this is big news for the population, yet the Irish Times had to dig it out and tell us . People should be advised to get outdoors rather than the 12 months daily message of stay at home (indoors).
How risky is a game of golf or teenagers playing soccer , (or even adults).

Ya, happens all the time where I live in Cork at the Lough.

Just tonight in the green of the estate I live in, a family tried to come out to celebrate their child's birthday so had balloons, music etc and I could see them setting up as I went for my walk and by the time I came back like 45 mins later, the guards were there clearing them.

Loads of examples posted here and reported in the media.

Easy to find if you try.

How is that in any way related to a made up story from another poster about guards going into a park and clearing it out of people?

I'm sure their response would be we've been in lockdown since December and the Kent strain has taken over since then and it is more transmissible, so a study from last summer with a less infectious variant doesn't mean it would be the same now.

What I think they'd say in response. Not saying I agree or disagree.

Well I haven't seen a single post here yet where someone claimed the guards went into a park and cleared all people out. I have also not seen any media posts about it.

Feel free to share though if you have any evidence.

Somebody just posted an example of a family cleared from a green area, what more help do you need here?

Good to see as it ruins parks for everyone else.

"Crowds of people were drinking at The Lough nature reserve in Cork City on Saturday, leading to complaints from residents and public representatives about unruly behavior. The Garda Public Order Unit dispersed the crowds."

A bit of green space in an estate is not a park. Your original posts were trying to imply guards are clearing out parks of people just outside for a walk.

Number of ways to find information, plenty of search engines, official websites etc. Pretending it's a genuine question on a message board where you know how it'll be responded to is a little sad tbh.

Never said that. People are allowed use parks for exercise so the guards would not be clearing people for exercising.

Maybe because it is a genuine question. I think you're the only person trolling by writing what somebody else's intentions are and finding different meanings to what they say.

This all started from your original post:

And here in Ireland we have guards going through parks clearing people.

So you now agree this is not true and they are only enforcing rules as appropriate? That's all I was asking.

Ha! You literally asked if it was allowed in Ireland at the end, and still claim it was a genuine question.

Hope your fairies aren't away more than 5km, or you'd be reporting those too.
