Great photos. The visibility is fantastic and that blue sky is stunning. I'm also very jealous that you're permitted to travel around the province as you please.

Lovely pics. Just what this thread needs....blue cloudless skies and wall to wall sunshine. :)

I don't think they are permitted. The "Stay at Home" message is still in place until April 12th, if Belfast Live is anything to go by.
The Executive announced that from April 1, six people (including children) from two households can now meet in private gardens, still adhering to social distancing.

But the stay at home message remains in place until April 12, well after the Easter holidays.

This means until the regulations change on April 12, you must not leave your home without reasonable excuse, putting the brakes on any Easter getaway plans.

You may only leave home, where necessary:

-to obtain goods or services from any business permitted to open
-to exercise, as permitted in the regulations
    -to visit your bubble
-to visit hospital, GP, medical appointments or health services (including mental health)
-to provide care or assistance to a vulnerable person, or to provide emergency assistance
-to avoid injury, illness or risk of harm (including domestic abuse)
-to go to work, or provide voluntary or charitable services, if you cannot reasonably do so from home
    -to access education or childcare
-to access critical public services (such as MOT or social care services)
-to attend to the care, welfare and exercise of an animal
-to fulfil a legal obligation, such as attending court or jury service
    -to donate blood
-to attend a place of worship
-to go to a wedding or civil partnership
-to attend a funeral or visit a burial ground
-to continue access and contact between parents and children who do not live -in the same household
-to facilitate a house move, and to do associated activities for that purpose, including viewing properties and making arrangements for removals

3 fabulous days in a row in the West.
Badly wanted as we have had poor weather upto now.
Amazing how much more of a lifestyle you can have when you have dry sunny weather, only about 13c today but still warm as little wind.

So many people out and about and kids playing with not a care in the world.

Beautiful warm cloudless day here in the NW, a very slight chilly breeze at times. Our ‘summer’ was nice while it lasted, back to the thermals next week.

Today was a worldie for sure. It's still so nice out, the stars are so bright too.

Sat out yesterday afternoon cold beer in hand, BBQ lit. Listening to the Rugby on the wireless. Lovely weather and got a little sunburnt. Gentle and gorgeous day.

Walked around the garden later on. Plants and trees coming into bud and the sound of the birds calling.

Unfortunately a lot of those shrubs and trees could be badly damaged by what is to come. Thank God we are not lambing next week.

Sunny southeast was sunny but we had strong cold north easterly winds since Thursday which kept tge temps down and feeling like 3° less. Funny enough Dublin to North Wicklow escaped the winds, you could see the divide on the Windy App.

It feels like the cold air is sort of already here, only 7c and cloudy. The last three nights we've got very close to 0c, but never below, very odd.

Yesterday was a gem of a day with the sea being dead still during the evening. The lack of wind for a change was so nice! Today is no different so far. This is probably on a par with 2019 for my favourite Easter. Sadly not going to last.

Been spoiled to be honest these past few weeks with great weather in Dublin, takes me back to the lockdown weather of last spring.

    EDIT: Cumulus bubbling up now.

EDIT again: And it's mostly cloudy, I jinxed it lol

The swallow arrived yesterday. They are going to be in for some shock.

Another lovely day in cork city so far. Air is slightly chilly but there's some warmth in the sun!

Glorious sunshine here in Firhouse Dublin 24, exactly the same as the last 3 days!
So lovely to see everyone out and about enjoying the weather.....
What a contrast next week will be.....
Don't like cold at this stage of the year, but I will very much enjoy any wintry precipitation that arrives in any case!
I'm just sorry for the lambs and the plants!

Partly cloudy in south Laois and temperatures between 13c and 14c. A sharp frost last night with -1.6c in the air.

A light westerly breeze gathering up dust.

Lovely Meath. Cool and windy around 1pm. Sun over head now keeping things warmer than earlier.

another lovely day in Meath, plenty of sun but that wind has a bite to it making it feel nowhere near as mild as yesterday.

Yesterday was indeed as someone described it a gem of a day absolutely glorious enjoyed every second. Today is a lovely day to sit and look out at or get out well wrapped up because there’s a wind there that would slice ya in 2. Really noticeable chill there.

Yeah, it's a bit disappointing after yesterday with the wind back. But hey, still way better than our usual rubbish.

Felt cooler here in North County Dublin today than yesterday.

If you just looked at temperatures you say it isn't but the wind today was much colder and stronger and it was also cloudier for parts of the day.

Yesterday we had sun all day long and a very light breeze so much more pleasant.

Now I'm not complaining still a brilliant day for early April its just we have been spoiled all week with nice weather in Dublin.

That's a wrap. Evening sun well hidden behind cloud. Will miss those last few days of sunshine. Meath

Nice morning but much cooler with a Northerly wind. Clouded over and quite cool this afternoon. Not a day to be sat outside. Leitrim.

Bit of pessimism regarding tomorrow. Met Éireann calling it dry and sunny in Dublin. Cold perhaps but that’s ok.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,131 ✭✭✭pad199207

Glorious day here in Kildare with long pleasant spells of sunshine. Even managed to get a top up of sun in the garden!

Had clouded over now significantly with the wind from the WNW. Change is on!

South Tipp. It was cold by 4pm you absolutely wouldn’t call it warm very warm or even slightly warm it was cold sitting in it and ok when moving. Beautiful bright sunshine allright.
