Because that is, without doubt, what will get us out of this.

It will be about 10 years before the Irish get vaccinated at this rate.

I’d love to see your workings for that.

Except it won't even be 10 months.

Look I know you want to box anyone with an opinion outside the official narrative into a nice little pigeon hole. Quite sad really.

So ''you people'' is smug, but ''certain posters'' isn't? Sad. So very very sad.

Thats simply not the case, how then should i refer collectively to anti lockdown posters?

Comical. You don't want to box then into a pigeon hole but you want a collective term anyway. Funny stuff that.

How about "people with different opinions to you". Not snappy enough?

    Yes exactly, totally agree.

I overheard my mother sobbing because she can’t see her grandchildren. Thankfully she along with my father are getting the jab on Friday. Once they give it time to kick in not seeing their grandchildren will be a thing of the past, a step towards normality.

I daresay on most occasions that people dont give their name etc to Gardai, it is hardly worthy of mention in the national news media.

This isn't particularly noteworthy either. However a number of posters claimed it was normal standard practice for the media to publish names and addresses for the heinous crime of not giving your name and address to a Garda. No examples of it have been provided though other than an article from a local paper in 2009, which is weird if it's such normal standard practice.

Myself, wife and child went to Tipperary from Dublin for the weekend last Friday to visit my parents.
      No sign of any checkpoints.
Wife has been up and down to Meath a few times over the last month to visit hers and never been stopped.

More and more people realising this every day. Sadly some will be still walking around a 5km radius from their homes come 2022.

Ah well. That's life. People have different opinions so it isn't always easy to box them off into a pigeon hole.

You should keep that to yourself. There's people here who think you should be arrested and named and shamed on national media for such things.

I had sympathy for people last summer trapped in some ridiculous travel radius with sweet fa cases and not able to see family, loved ones etc.
      No sympathy this time round.
1 year on and all we have gained is an extra 3km on the exercise radius. F**k that.

Well indeed, but 'you people' in the context i used it was fairly clear i thought, referring to those posters who generally are arguing against the current harsh restrictions.

No, they said it was standard to give names and addresses of court cases. Which it is.

Not headline news for not giving name and address to a Gardaí. Not a single other example has been provided of national media headlines for such a terrible crime. Not one.
