I'm surprised they asked him that. I can't imagine publicly acknowledging him as a killer will make working with Putin any easier.

What’s the problem? He’s rightly calling out Putin as a killer and saying that he has to be able to work with him.

It certainly beats the last guy who was too scared to criticise Putin.

Putin has challenged Biden to a live debate. This is a funny move by Putin. lol

Sure. From what Biden says he intends to work with Putin, but I think acknowledging him as a killer and saying that we'll see shortly the price he will pay could make it more difficult to do that. Time will tell.

Has Putin learned how to speak English since he was in a room with Trump and only his own interpreter present?

    Evidence please.

I remember a President who called another country leader a little rocket man and threatened 'Fire and Fury' on them.
I remember another one who threatened to attack Iran with 1000 times the force if Iran were to attack America.
Someone showed me a video of a Republican President who pushed the leader of Montenegro out of the way so he could be at the front of a photo.

No no no we're not allowed to do that. If he implies that Biden is x, then we're not allowed to point to many other presidents who were x even more, thereby demonstrating that Biden is not x at all.

That way, he can just say what he wants and we can't explain how he's horribly misguided.

Putin might actually respect Biden for standing up to him, unlike the previous sycophant. He must have had a good laugh at Donnie behind his back.

You didn't deal with the point I made. You just went off on a Trump comment.

You didn't agree or disagree with my original comment.

Do you not understand the problem with your Trump comments? They are just derailing the thread.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,435 ✭✭✭✭hotmail.com

Hey, you spoke about 'Democrat Presidents', why can you refer to people other than Biden, but we can't?

My point was in the context of Biden. And you know that.

When someone just replies to a Biden comment with a Trump rant (sad at this point I have to say and a big embarrassing), I have to call it out. An attempt to repeat Trump rubbish said by the same posters over and over again.

Trump is gone! Move on please.

Id say Harris was smiling from ear to ear while rubbing her hands together. Its a shame the white house denied Putins challenge to debate him.

Every time I see Biden speaking, I think just how much better he is at the job than the last guy. It goes to show how messed up politics in the US is that Trump got within 8M votes of Biden.
They're a million miles apart in terms of capability for the role.

I think bidens english is pretty decent. almost fluent i would say. :D

But seriously, Putin does speak english but chooses not to when conducting official business.

It's wonderful that all the people who dislike Biden and his policies are reduced to doctored videos, memes and nitpicking. No argument of substance just shallow logical fallacies. Reductio ad absurdum, ad hominem, ad populum. Et cetera ad nauseam. Proof positive that Biden is making America great again.

Whilst I’m sure there is some game playing going on with him it makes sense to use a translator. I deal with people daily who speak English well as a second language and the amount of minor misunderstandings is pretty high. It’s never anything major but there’s no accuracy in the understanding.

It doesn't matter what he says or how many times he gets something basic wrong the majority of posters in here will defend him to death and revert back to something Trump said ad nauseam.

It is really ironic when you think back to when Trump was in office and the majority of posters in here were chatising posters for defending Trump or showing support for him when they thought Trump was 100% wrong or lying.

Now that Biden has made a few errors during the very few speeches or public speaking that he has done those same posters will leap to his defence by saying "but Trump said this........". It just shows that there is no rational explanation for the errors Biden has made while speaking but it doesn't matter because the majority of posters hatred for Trump is greater than their concern for Biden and his ability to speak in public or talk to the press which I would argue is a fairly important part of his job as president.

Actually the main reasons we despised Trump were because he was an incompetent, unqualified, narcissistic, ignorant, egotistical, arrogant, racist bully.

If the only incorrect thing he did was make grammatical slip ups during a live discussion, like any human would, we would all unanimously congratulate him on a successful presidency.

Also, we don't think he was 100% wrong or lying, we know he was and we can give you many examples once you take those fingers out of your ears.

Why is Biden standing up to Putin and the GOP showing allegiance to him?
    Very strange behaviour.

The ability to articulate. This is a Biden thread but as you insist on bringing Trump into the conversation, let's see how the previous incumbent compares to Biden when it come to "his ability to speak in public":

    Joe is getting things done.
He’s protecting the environment and people.
    And bringing civility back.
    Standing up to dictators.
    Such relief.

But sure, back up your views with Twitter links, doctored videos and no engagement.

    On anything.

Putin has responded to Biden labelling him a killer by saying "it takes one to know one", Biden is now expected to further respond with "I know you are but what I am".

This is the man that Trump went into hysterics when he missed a phone call from him presumably because he was fearful of what Putin was say or do, and was too afraid of (or in awe of) to rebuke over bounties being placed on the life of US soldiers.

It really highlights the difference in competence between the current and previous administrations.

    I wasn’t on about you.

No one is saying Biden doesn’t deserve criticism.
But everything has been insignificant so far.
