If I don't get a bloody vaccine by August I'm putting an ad up on in Donedeal to seek deliberate infection from some Covid buddy and will give them €100 for the privilege.

I wonder what boards would be like for a Gay Byrne Late Late 1980 :)

Brendan came on a few years ago and launched a tirade about the state of the Health Service here

it was intense and very well made, but I never heard him talk about it again.

Why the irrational hate? He's well liked by many has charisma and quite capable.

I don't hate him at all, I just thinking tombstoning him through a screen would be very entertaining.

Was his mother in law on a trolley or something? He was raging that night. Remember it well. Around 2005/06 when Pat the Plank was presenting

Well, on Reeling in the Years 1977 earlier, a clip of the Late Late had Peter Ustinov and Fred Astaire as guests. I'd be absolutely glued to both those fellas.

I'm not saying Gay Byrne had superstars on every week, but overall it strove for more depth, more content, less whimsical bullsh1t.

I have an invite to visit friends elsewhere in the EU and it looks like September but depends on vaccination.
    Want it before travelling.

Brendan Gleeson is a great actor, but this pre - recorded segment has completely ruined the reasonably good flow the show had tonight.

Of course Trump had to be shoehorned into the conversation. In fairness to Gleeson he seemed to avoid the political bias we normally associate with this shambles of a channel

Billy Connolly, Kris Kristofferson, Peter Sellers etc proper stars.
