Lidl have their basic wines for €4.99 (save up to 25%)

I see an ad for that on front page of leaflet but no details inside it!
Looks to be the cimarossa types that are normally in the 5 - 7 euros range.

Any of the shops still doing 24 cans of Guinness for €24 ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 798 ✭✭✭Yyhhuuu

I bought a slab in there for 20 euro on Friday.

Then Lidl had different pricing in different stores on Friday. They were €24 in store I visited and remain €24 for 24 can slab. Still good value. Can anybody find a Lidl ad pricing Alcohol offers at present?

I think all those prosecco deals were for Mother's Day hence the price going back up.

They have the discounts leading up to the day like Valentine's then they go back to original price.
I might be wrong but that's what I'm guessing

The online prices are 1 day ahead of in store... so they appear to start and end earlier - cos you preorder.

For me, it's Gravity all the way but when I mention my preference to seasoned Guinness drinkers I might as well have said I wanted a pink umbrella in my glass.

Gravity glass is akin to drinking expensive wine from a mug.

If you're into espresso martinis, Kahlua is €19 in Tesco. Usually have a bottle in the house and this is as cheap as I've seen it. €27 in Supervau for reference.

Jameson Black Barrel gone back up to €43 in Tesco online. Roe and Co. Back up to €30. May still be at lower prices in store tonight, the website seems to go up a day in advance.

the Guinness glasses that came free with the 8/12/24 packs are all too small, so i took to drinking my Guinness from the birra morretti pint glass.

You could buy unbranded tulip pint glasses at about €1 each. [€50 for 48 inc VAT].

    Not sure about delivery charges.

Anyway Pubs will be open soon enough and you will be able to pick up free glasses again ;)

I doubt anyone would, but it shows how much a Guinness branded one is @ €5 plus, depending on where you buy it.

I would not suggest you pinch them from pubs though.

Tesco were selling Rockshore and Hop House 13 branded pint glasses for €1 each recently or one free if you bought a 6 pack of either beer cans. They had Guinness glasses too in the same deal but they were the 470ml ones.
