Maybe you could use it to buy something in the (MIDL) middle aisle

    That's a good idea! TY.

I hope they get something of use to me in, as the offer only lasts a week!

There was no classic mini ice creams in my lidl today but they had plenty of the mini deluxe ones under the sign for classic, sneaky, wonder if many get caught out with that.

I got a €5 off €25 spend offer via the app. Hard to spend €25 when alcohol isn't included!
A lot of the canned food, like fish, has a very long expiry date.

Although I have so many canned things my OH might think I'm a prepper!

And that's only the overflow area because my cupboard is full.

I tend to shop there a couple of times a week. Not sure why they picked me! I have been using the app since it started.

Hopefully some others might get the offer, would be very useful for families. I just shop for myself.

I would be surprised if people spending close to or above €25 per visit/families would get such a voucher. You're probably in a customer segment that they're targeting to see if the voucher can change buying patterns going forward... i.e increase the average spend per visit.

Worked in that space a few moons ago and I find it fascinating.

On the other hand, they could be random vouchers but they've made a huge investment in this so I'm sure they'll be putting the data to some use.

It is fascinating, the data analysis of it all.

I can only say that I am a very regular shopper that never spends even close to €25.

So maybe I am in that certain segment that is targeted?

I remember years ago, going to a Big Data talk, and they spoke about Walmart in the States, and how they could calculate the sales potential on how closely items were placed on the shopping aisle.

The takeaway point was not to sell nappies by the beer, but interesting stuff.

Didn’t get digital receipt or scratch card today. I used the app and my vouchers from it were applied and are gone now so it definitely worked!

They're always late on Saturdays I find.

Did anyone figure out what the guaranteed unbeatable prices were on the Easter eggs from Friday last by the way?

It might be the store. My partner went to another store this evening and the scratch card appeared straight away.

I was in this morning to my local store.

I thought new legislation on sale of alcohol prohibited any price promotions?
Is the app a loophole or Lidl just forget?

I reckon they may take heat for this.

Mine has a pic of rolls (I think. It's really difficult to see) but it says sugar free drops in the text.

Is that not for multibuys? The app specifically only allows you to buy one.

Guess the app not updated correctly.
These were the 3 S&W up to yesterday, cream cleaner or sugar free drops,
€1 off next shop & part baked rolls or antibacterial cleaner.

Tried this morning in same store and again coupons applied but no digital voucher / scratch card issued.

It must be just that store :/
