What’s the story with all these online muscle guys who seem to be making a lucrative living posting videos and advising their followers on what to eat and do exercise?? Are they shysters or qualified fitness instructors who just went online and followed the YouTube and later Instagram trends. They seem to live in luxury apartments in Dubai and go on numerous lavish holidays each year. All these followers who sign up with them and post pics of their transformations, posing in their calvins and g-strings, are funding these vacuous twats. Them calling themselves athletes is an insult to any skilled athlete. Going to the gym, lifting weights and having a toned physique is not any kind of skilled sport.

They are essentially just professional models who masquerade as fitness authorities to sell clothes, supplements, etc.

It's a shame so many people see them as a valid resource for info, but it's the nature of image-centric social media like Instagram.
