Hopefully we get similar numbers in the impeachment trial and put an end to the second ridiculous impeachment allegations by The Democrats and President Trump can ride off into the sunset with his full pension after changing US politics forever.

It would be fun watching them do further harm to themselves in order to prove their loyalty (and they will, they already voted to acquit him despite admitting his guilt re Ukraine straight after) onky for the likes of SDNY to go ahead and lock him up anyway for his other crimes. :pac:

Had control of the Senate and did sweet f*** all with it. As inept a leader as there will ever be.

Greene today says it's the Trump Party.
'By Friday morning, however, Greene seemed unrepentant, as she used a press conference to sum up the intertwining of the Republican party and Trump. “The party is his – it doesn’t belong to anyone else,” Greene told reporters. On Twitter, too, Greene seemed upbeat.' Guardian

In among that woman's nonsensical ramblings and appeals to gullibility and fear, here is something I can agree with her on. The Republican party of the United States began feeding a monster back in 2008 - the Tea Party - nursing it in the hopes it would mature into a great political weapon. This monster is something the Republican party thought it could control, but they were wrong on that count. That monster's master is Trump, not the party's old neocon establishment, and Trump can command it to eat the Republican party alive at his behest. Consequently, the old guard has kneeled in submission, and accepted the mantra - whatever Trump says is truth. Those not following this line of thinking will be branded heretics and expelled from the congregation.

I don't think the Trumpist bloc even really cares about the party being electable. That is to say, I don't think they'll compromise with traditional Republicans in order to keep the party from full schism into two parties. In that event, their preferred course of action would be to try and take over the country by force in a more concerted, focused version of what went down on January 6th, bypassing the Democratic process altogether.

Would you recommend he relaxes with a round of golf perhaps?

No doubt when Biden eventually does take a break, you and other Trumpists will be demanding to know why he isn't working.

Giving Trump access to intelligence is risky in the sense he might happily give it to news outlets like OANN etc.

Do former presidents get intell briefings and if so Why?
Is it so they can help the current administration if they want and think they might have good advice?

    In theory, yes.

But Trump was such a simpleton, on balance it is more likely that he didn't understand his briefings, or wasn't interested in their import...

Being the grifter he is, he may look to monetise what he is told...

And tweeted out aerial shots and within hours redditors/space community had identified the confidential spy satellite they came from

Could be a simple way to get rid of him now though. Re-enable his Twitter account, send him the daily briefing containing something confidential like the turkey farm that the thanksgiving turkey Biden pardons comes from, wait for Trump to tweet something about the turkey farmers politics, lock Trump up for breaching confidentiality.

Trump probably thinks it was a real life documentary. Got distracted by the parts with Dany and Jon. Got him thinking of Ivanka and if they should move to Westeros.

So, both of you were not upset that the GOP blocked raising the stimulus cheques from $600 to $2,000, but what's really grinding your gears is that some democrats want to target giving such $2,000 cheques to those who are very low income earners rather than also those who many would classify as middle income earners is that right?

So, are either of you actually concerned about low income earners in the US or maybe, just maybe, is this another example of faux outrage from the both of you?

If you are upset by this, then you must actually instead primarily be upset with the GOP and not with the democrats as this proposal has been raised by Republicans in general and only by centrist Democrats. Are you therefore also upset with these Republicans who also have suggested this?

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/us-policy/2021/02/02/biden-stimulus-checks/

If you are so concerned about low income earners, what is it about Biden's plan that the majority of Democrats approved and that the majority of Republicans rejected that you dislike?

In what way does the above demonstrate that Democrats are being tight with the purse strings as you say rather than the GOP?
