    Yeah I don't use twitter.

That's awfully sad, doesn't look that old either. Poor thing.

Gogglebox Ireland on tonight at 9pm. Does anyone know if this is a new episode or a repeat?

I'd guess a repeat? Haven't heard about any new episodes filmed.

I think they're repeats from two years ago.

I hate how WM1 say new when advertising

Sneaky move putting repeats on the same time as when new episodes used to air.

They're advertising it as a new episode. It's one of those special look back episodes at TV from years ago.

The continuity announcer said as much just now before the news. What a joke shop of a channel.

Did anybody see that very long ad the cast did for Virgin TV?

So maybe it is actually a new episode then so?

New or not, it was great fun.

They didn't show the best part of the Virgin Prunes performance on The Late Late Show, when a sixth member of the band came on to give Gay Byrne some chocolates, and then handed out Mars Bars to the (traumatised) people in the audience. :D

Indeed. My brother and mother keep asking me why I don't upgrade my current Virgin box. To be honest, the only reason I haven't because they keep on at me to do it! :D

The drink driving survey cracked me up

Didn't think it was a great episode tbh, but I did enjoy Twink being dragged through the mud as usual. "It'd take more than a miracle pet" :pac:

Watched all the Irish and UK episodes - tried the first episode of the Oz version - found it hard going - us it worth persevering?

The English version has had its day, dull and boring now.

Nah the English version is a far better show.

I agree. I still like some of the families and get a few laughs out of it but it just feels very scripted these days, they're very aware of the cameras and it seems like some are playing up to it in the hopes of getting some follow up work like Scarlett Moffat. Pete and Sophie always seem to be doing something "zany".

    English version is brilliant.
Lee and Jenny from Hull always have something scripted every week. They are quite annoying but the other families are all really good.

I find it can be tough going but I find I don't connect with the families compared to the Irish one's.

The UK version is very stale, they rely too much on the same 2 or 3 families and it's become fairly boring now imo.
The Irish version took a while to get going but I much prefer it to the UK version now.
