Martinez on for a 9 pointer

    Very welcome points.

He must be very pleased to get one over on the Arsenal.

Nice to get a goal, CS & 4 bonus points from the first game of the week.

Nicely balanced off with Lacazette's 59 minute 1 pointer coming off the bench already! :)

Started Pope over Martinez. I wonder what minute Burnley will concede in?

Pressure on Pope now, not confident at all :(

Captain grealish failure ... But had Watkins and Martinez so 17points from 3, which is great after the first game.

No hope of getting near last week's 92points but ... Will certainly be happier that I have points on the board.

I jumped at him before the DGW. He has been poor the last few games.

Unless it's a bare gw, I don't see Grealish as a viable captain choice. He's quite consistent but rarely explodes

He explodes as much as most players do. He has more double digit scores than Sterling does this season, and in less games, and I'm sure there are many that have captained Sterling this season - if though he has rotation risk - again something Grealish doesn't have to worry about.

    Should have captained Martinez

    No hits
    Martinez
    Justin, Cancelo, Cresswell
    Soucek, Salah, Grealish, Bruno(c), Maddison
    Bamford, Cavani
    McCarthy, DCL, Dallas, Holding

Is Grealish out for the next game after that yellow ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,484 ✭✭✭Ninthlife

Mings, Grealish and Watkins will give me a possible 17pts from 3

Still have Meslier, Justin, Dias, Bruno, Son, Lingard, DCL & Bamford to play

No. Threshold for yellow cards and a suspension is now 10.

Really? He created 2 great chances for Watkins and was very close to scoring himself

Time to just start Martinez for the rest of the season and bench McCarthy
