At least we will all know what it’s like to live in an open prison if we do a crime and it’s an open prison we are sent to...

Should have left the dogs in spain. If movies have taught us anything it's that they will make their own way home.

When Mick O'Leary gets an apology, Joe reads it (or else) - and he doesn"t have to wait 12 months for it either!

There's a nastiness in the air these days, an edginess, a lets all be miserable together vibe and woe betide anyone who goes a little off track, a curtain twitchers paradise in the new Republic. Anger is turned towards the citizens themselves instead of directing it to where it should go. Living in this half life is no good for anyone and bringing out the worst in people
Some of the anger is entirely reasonable in my opinion though.

People having house parties and gatherings at home can get in the fecking bin.
Also stick on a mask for your blooming shopping stop being a child.

If people keep taking the hand the numbers will stay high, we will stay in lockdown hence the frustration

this lad could have gotten home much quicker. just hang the dogs out of a tree. Its what the Spanish do regularly with slow hunting dogs. I kid you not. Our guardiner is fond of hunting and sees then from time to time.

If a foreign holiday prevented a suicide attempt caused by depression over the lockdowns, would it then have been essential?

One could say this could be a wake-up call for the government, if it works that way.
