They're expecting a surge in Ballymote after a cultural funeral yesterday. 2 or 300 swarming the village with no masks. Guards everywhere and nobody got checked.

Family go to a local beauty spot and all were fined.

    Bastards.

The Saw Doctors wrote The N17 when they were missing the road into Tuam. I think the N17 is fantastic. It takes you out of Tuam.

Drove through Tuam in summer, don't know if I was on de N17, though.

There's a pop up coffee stall outside a Primary Health Care centre close to me.

    He could combine both stories.

Have you travelled the bypass yet. Great job. Cuts about 30 40 minutes off my trip to Tipp these days.

Its absolutely right to say people have the right to refuse a vaccine, or indeed testing.

How else do we dial stupid out of the gene pool?

This caller using Joe's "Tsunami" line. Will she throw in the Sluice Gates of Ardnacrusha as well?

Serious question . Has there been any overlay between influenza /flu number deaths and covid. interesting that there is no mention of the flu. It cant have just dissapeared.
Almost no flu deaths (or even infections) in most countries in recent months. Lab testing confirms this. Most recent flu strains are less contagious than Covid.
So reduced travel and social distancing have knocked it out for the time being.
So in fact total death rate should be down rather than up if you were only considering the effect of influenza.

Just got notification to say Normal People got a Golden Globe nomination.

Will Joe mention that? He will if he's watching Sky on the Eye Pad.

He'll give the caller the bum's rush as soon as he spots it.

former Manchester City forward Marsh was forced to do just that after making light of a natural disaster which killed nearly 300,000 people. Appearing live on Sky Sports, the ‘cheeky chappy’ jokingly claimed that David Beckham had snubbed Newcastle due to the trouble with the “Toon Army in Asia”.

Not only did Marsh’s quip make little sense, it also came just weeks after the earthquake and tsunami which devastated over a dozen countries surrounded by the Indian Ocean. Despite apologising for his tasteless remark, Marsh lost his cushy role and spent the next few years stuck on the reality TV merry-go-round.

QUOTE=TheHomeService;116152432]And Bunclody & Enniscorthy and travel from UK + funerals. Particularly cultural group funerals.[/QUOTE]

They set up a sound system and a marquee for one recently. Then hundreds back to a gaff for a knees up. The Gardai arrived to engage and educate. Poor ****er walking on a deserted beach got himself a fixed penalty notice. Pave point was contacted re the funeral by some media outlet. They had heard nothing about it according to spokeswoman. Yet there was a rep. On yesterday claiming they are a special case and must get priority for vaccination.. Moral , reject every COVID rule and get special treatment to keep you from spreading it.
