Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No massive fires to put out at the moment, mght bite the bullet and get Martinez in.

Big ownership, great form, and a good few DGW's coming up.

Pity it took me so long to get him

Was going to do Robinson to Watkins which would give me a frontline of him with DCL & Bamford but instead I think I'll do Sterling to Salah as on paper Brighton home is easier than Burnley away and well I cant get pepped 2 GWs in a row because I'll crack!
    Seems logical?

With sterling "rested" yesterday ... Would it not be more logical to keep him, even with pep roulette, he is more likely to play than not.

I would wait until after today's game to decide - see if Salah can pass the eye test, he looked decent against spurs but he has also blanked in 6 premier League games in a row, if he does well today I may need to take a points hit to get Salah in, he should get double digits returns soon....might even be today against West ham... With all the focus on Liverpool's defence and how patched up it is, Salah/mane etc could get scores, ideally Robbo too.... although I think Antonio will get one at the least.

Agreed, will wait until after today's game for sure but I think if both play, Salah has more points potential and Liverpool then play Man City at home.

And for that game sterling may put the extra effort in and get points.

I wouldn't be losing any City players at the moment, good chance they have 3 doubles in 3 weeks in the next few weeks

Sterling has generally always done terrible against Liverpool.

I have Stones and Cancelo already so will probably do Zaha to Gundo for the doubles

    Getting Ings back in.

He looked dangerous against Villa and if he can stay fit I see solid returns for the rest of the year.

    Thats a big if though

Probably Raphinha to Grealish, and/or Brewster to Watkins/Ings

May be better to re-organize the 3 players you want for DGW. Ederson is very unlikely to be dropped. so maybe Ederson + 1 of stones/Dias/Cancelo is a better approach than 2 of those defenders - as we've seen this GW Pep is likely to rotate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,778 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

Will see how the rest of the GW goes, but looking at Bruno to Grealish and maybe Son to Zaha.

Ederson pretty much has a ceiling of 6pts though and as all three defenders mentioned have a much much higher ceiling I would personally prefer to take my chances with Pep Roullette.

When is the next double GW and will there be a few more double GWs before season finishes(Covid aside)?
Have got 3 villa players now in and looking at a city midfielder maybe...

Can't be bothered looking through the fixtures so hoping one of you already have the answers :)

Trying not to rage sell Digne or DCL. Would like Grealish but midfield is Salah, Son, Gundo, Bruno and Soucek. Not sure who I'd sell.

Ah Na seriously tho I’d probably wait another gw or 2 as it seems TT is playing everyone at the min to give them all an opportunity to see how they perform

    Thinking of Chilwell to Holding.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,595 ✭✭✭✭siblers

    Taylor to Dallas I'd say

  • Registered Users Posts: 410 ✭✭TaytoCrisps

Sterling to Salah I think . 20 points behind in my main league so don't want to risk loosing ground to salah...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,654 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

I might actually reverse the Bamford to DCL move out of rage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,115 ✭✭✭eggy81

Think CHO looks the pick of the first 2 games under tuchel.

Tempted by this but might just keep DCL for one last game.

Might do Maddison > Salah and captain him.

Time to get Mo back. Got away with it for 3 weeks. Not today.

Think I'll sell Bruno (for 11.3M) for him instead of Soucek so I avoid benching Watkins/Antonio/Bamford.

Palace really stand out on the fixture ticker.
    Anyone Mr P considering PVA?

Was going to keep wood as he's a handy kind of bench guy who is easy to leave out but gets 90 and might get you something.. now he's injured I'd say :(

Salah out not happening. TAA staying for now and it will be a bank this week. Same lineup next week but mo captain!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,706 ✭✭✭dr.kenneth noisewater

Only brought in Chilwell this week so will hold fire for now. Wood to Watkins most likely

Welcome back Mo Salah & Brewster! (Or any fodder) Saka/Soucek out.

Gonna stick to the 3-5-2. Midfield is where it's at this year and Watkins & Lacazette will do up front.

Mitchell surely is too much of a risk to rotate? Pains me to say it but who's actually first choice atm?

Also have zero confidence in Palace as a defensive or attacking unit. Luck of the draw what kind of performance shows up each week?

That's not to say I couldn't be tempted...

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,815 ✭✭✭bantee

Sticking to the plan of Sterling to Salah, will get Gundog and Watkins next week then

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,654 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

I want Grealish and Barnes, feck it might just get both. Son and Soucek out.

Ya Son to Grealish might be my move this week. Was a 50/50 call a few weeks ago who to get rid of but Spurs are just shocking without Arry

Yeah Grealish looks dangerous every attack, don't want to watch another Villa game without owning him!

Is Tuchel going to be another Pep?

I need stability with player picks.

People getting rid of Son; ye worried about potentially not having him home to West Brom in GW23? He'll be very highly captained that gameweek you'd have to think.

Yeah that's the only thing that would hold me back, he's the standout captain that week.

Any official word on how long Kane will be out for from Jose tonight. Problem is looking at the forward options there isn't anyone I would be confident to bring in. FPL screwed us when they made all the actual forwards midfielders this year.

This may be just a short term issue while he tries to figure out his best team but Alonso did much better than Chilwell from what I could see when they both got a game to show what they could do, Would surprise me to see Alonso dropped the next game. Chilwell to Holding done since Chilwell is close to a price drop and I don't want a player that price in my team who might not start.

Need to get rid of Reece James - I have a 11 starters but with knocks and rotation I might need my bench but 2 transfers would be nice for weekend if I could hold.

PVA was back yesterday and got 3 bonus, Palace have great fixtures and he would be a good differential.. what could go wrong?

Is it just me or does it feel like penalties have dried up recently?

I want to bring in Salah and Grealish but struggling to figure out who to get rid of

Maddison - have him two weeks now and his fixtures are probably the most favourable of all until end of season.
Gundogan - Brought him into this GW, but his fixtures turn pretty bad after this GW - so thinking of shipping him
Son - by all accounts had a bad night, hard to know how he'll fair without Kane, but does have West Brom at the weekend.
Bruno - pretty much set on dumping him - his form and that of everyone around him has nosed dived in recent weeks.
Pereria - My punt this week got 13 points and have some very favourable fixtures and must win games coming up - so want to keep him.

    Bruno and Gundogan I'm thinking...

I'm leaning towards Son. Saw some of the second half and Spurs were abject.

Bruno has WBA the week after Son does. And Newcastle after that. Even with United off form think Bruno has still looked dangerous enough. I'm not ruling out selling him though.

Just to add that I was thinking that sure Burnley are a solid team, then looked up and saw the city beat them 5-0 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season where Mahrez got a hatrick and 21 points. Mahrez had a nice rest this weekend... hmm

Also to note sterling has been benched regularly against Burnley by Pep.

Would Pep bench Sterling 2 games in a row? And leave him 2 games without reasonable minutes before a trip to Anfield?
