Pre recorded. They hit 'play' too early.

Joe probably has his little party hat on now and the receptionists are approaching his throne to offer tribute. Jag revving aggressively outside the front door.

OK but did these people only get a statement today telling them how much they owe, or were they not getting monthly/annual statements? Surely they would have seen the amount creeping up over the years?

That ruins the narrative caller. You not familiar with Joe/Liveline then..?

It will only happen when restrictions are unrestricted so to speak, and in the Merrion Hotel... on taxpayers' expense.

I take out a lifeloan in 2005 to give my children money for deposits on houses. Their houses are flying up in value. Am I missing something?

They are whinging because the interest is not far behind. I think they though they could borrow say 100k. Then 30 or 40 years later throw the bank €100 k plus a few Bob on top. That’s my take on it but wasn’t playing close attention.

I think that's the gist of it. Borrow agaisnt their own house, let the 2 kids get houses of their own which will soar in value and eventually pay off the loan plus a bit of interest and come out well ahead.

Seems like they misjudged the interest and when it's time to pay up are going too blind / deaf to see / hear the details they signed up for at the time. Could be an element of predatory selling for sure but as ever caveat emptor.

Yeah schools are open. There were 6 cases detected in Shanghai on Friday and they had an immediate local lockdown. None of your "From Midnight on thursday" guff Mehole Martin announces. An immediate lockdown starts now. Also, they had forced hotel quaratining of people arriving into the country as early as last March.

We are only talking about it now.

And, when he eventually gets back home he’ll be the toast of nationwide, haying the fastest sewing machine in the west. He’ll be lashing out t shirts in jig time.Any brand you want and all off the same machine. The ice-cream and cheese makers of west Cark will be well miffed what with him soaking up their limelight.

Goin to get something done about my imagination.I don’t take acid although I think acid figured heavily in today’s offering?
