What do people think should be done with them?
I have missed all the chatter on the thread this morning.

The Terminator Shield - Its basically a munch protection. If a player gains this they can protect themselves or another player from munch the next day. It will NOT protect players from other deaths', only a wolf munch.

The Terminator Vote Scanner - If a player wins this, they can use it on tonight lynch only. The holder chooses a player and if a wolf votes for this player, the holder will receive word that a wolf has voted for their chosen player. Players will receive info before thread reopens at 10pm following lynch.

i dont like that derry is already distancing himself from his choices. used time pressure and going with his gut. took you only 9 minutes to make your choice. you had an additional 21 mins.

You are being very scattergun, trying to implicate numerous others while giving little to no real reasoning in your posts

Emily - small bit of reasoning follows this

I started to look back over your posts and got distracted with some other things. Now that Nigel is dead and good they may not be so relevant. One is interesting though. Nigel was told he had 30 mins to make a selection of who to get bullets or it would be handed out randomly but yesterday Conor had an hour and a half to hand out lynch power to me. Not sure if it means anything, maybe BJ let Conor get back to thread before randing? Alternative is Conor was waiting to see how to play it. Would of been more suspect of Nigel to be honest had he not died in this one as he actually had a disagreement with Barbara on how to use a bullet that I was going to bring up but again it’s not relevant now.

I voted for you because I felt, like I said earlier you have engaged in some serious fence sitting at times. Today with Barbara you leap quickly to her defence. You can talk about mechanics but it read like somebody who had placed a kill. You defend her method, suggesting I over reacted and then later you yourself think she might need to be lynched (I can link post if you like, have to put kids to bed now) because of her erratic behavior. But then you go and vote for me. That’s inconsistent voting behavior.

But I’d voted for you because you again started playing both sides. Defending Nigel and then casting shade on him when he was looking dodgy for the chop.

Not sure how I feel now after that. If I can get time I will try and do a proper review of you.
Emily, how are you feeling about Eva this afternoon?
    Tegan WW wrote: »

Vernon not all concerned by tegan pushing for him - nobody seemed to really be interested in a Vernon lynch last night.
    Tegan WW wrote: »

    and when he turns wolf

shoot vernon for LITERALLY the worst case on a villager ever

    It gives me paws alright.....

How he goes from no lynch on night 1 to being so decisive on literally the flimsiest reason ever
I agree with tegans points here although Phil didn't turn out to be a wolf.
    Jake WW wrote: »
Crap, I hate this. I still believe I'm right but I've changed my vote

I've gone no lynch because I have nothing else, I've been locked on Nigel. Still kind of am...
    Vernon WW wrote: »
Jake if you think he's a wolf then you vote for the wolf. Why on earth wouldn't you?
    Vernon WW wrote: »
If it wasn't Nigel I would've been voting for Babs. Although Nigel flipping village would put pause to that thought, at least until we see where her shot goes.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if it goes to me but sure what can I do, I made the best worst decision I could with limited information. Nigel looked wolfy to me and I had a plausible theory on how he chose the recipients of the prizes. I stand by that.
    Barbara WW wrote: »
It was piss poor logic. Didn't make a lick of sense.
    Vernon WW wrote: »
I'm actually fine with this. Highly likely there's a wolf in the Nigel votes. It's not me so it must be one of the others. But yeah it makes sense to kill all 4 of us.

How do you know Babs is cleared village? Why are you so confident?
    Mary WW wrote: »
Jake should definitely be looked at in the same regard as the 4 who actually voted for Nigel.
    Vernon WW wrote: »
Out of the 4 on Nigel there's hardly 2 wolves is there? In order of wolfiest I would say Phil, Isla, Frank Vernon.
    Derry WW wrote: »
Dont forget Jake who was part of the Lynch Nidge gang, but switched to No Lynch at the last minute.
    Jake WW wrote: »
    Yeah :o

This morning I was 100% that Nigel was wolf for leading the Lucy train, then Katie dropped in a mention of him and promptly got munched. It just all added up so much.

When he won the contest I didn't think it changed anything and talked myself into the idea he admitted it and picked Conor to gain credibility. It fit in my head, especially as it implicated Barbara who is just annoying (but I no longer think wolf). At the time I didn't feel there was much pushback from anyone except Nigel.

And I left a really detailed post on why I was picking him before logging off for a while and he just ignored it, I still don't understand why he did that.

When I came back I still believed he was a wolf, and his threats that I'd get shot rattled me but kind of confirmed my belief. In the end it was a few other players getting involved and fear of him actually being right that made me jump ship, but honestly I still believed he was wolf when I did.

I get how that looks but that's it. I can dig up my posts to back up all of that
    Jake WW wrote: »
I get that - but I was so far down the Nigel rabbithole I couldn't vote for anyone else, I literally had no one else in mind

Jake's posting has a bad smell to me here
    Fiona WW wrote: »
I’d say one of Nigel’s voters is the T1000 so losing a life was worth taking out Nigel’s bullet. Especially when they’ll morph to someone else and we’ve got to work from the beginning again.

I agree that there's a very good chance that Vernon is T1000.

    Steve WW wrote: »

Did those reasons ever materialise Steve?

And I think Jake is one of the wolfy partners for jumping off the Nigel wagon at the last minute.
Steve, because he had 4 or 5 posts yesterday about watching to lynch a player who had just subbed in.
And Doris. Because something about the posting is off to me. And I keep mixing her up with Vernon...

I had a cunning plan to make the most of the vote tracker but then realised we have know way to know if the user is a wolf or not so it's totally useless.

Emily, how are you feeling about Eva this afternoon?

I cannot get a proper read on Eva. She is actually defending me a lot, its very difficult to be objective about somebody sticking up for you. She is a solid player, very cute, has missed a few things I found odd given how on the ball she is (cant remember as I don't keep notes - I am sure this surprises nobody). Overall I am leaning neutral positive with the possibility they are pocketing me. The fact that Eva is so active means she is a helpful wolf or just a villager trying to see things from all angles (which would explain defense of Barbara yesterday and mixed comments about Nigel during day).

I want to try and maybe look a bit more into Mary and Tegan if I get the time. I feel there is good players behind these characters but I get the impression they get in and out keeping themselves noticed but not too much. Not sure on lower posters, but maybe we need to threaten them with bullets or lynch to get them going.

I would love to just not work for the next two days to give this a good shot. I was tired yesterday after my early morning trip to hospital so played poorly. I feel rested today, but Ive had client calls and do need to get some work done. I find it hard to balance. Two.

I have to say, this is a tough one. The village, as far as I can tell, has absolutely no way of getting verified information. Very old school :D

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 1,808 ✭✭✭Emily WW

Have to say, I am very surprised steve is the highest poster and surprised Derry is up there postwise. Does anybody else have reads or opinions on these two ? I am slightly suspect of Steve for his reasons for voting for me , it does make sense for a villager, but equally for a wolf, but I dont really recall too many incidents or discussions with those two that stick out.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,016 ✭✭✭Clodagh WW

Tegan and Vernon are currently my top two picks for wolves.

Barbara...well I have my reasons for believing in Barbara but I am also concerned that I am being totally suckered.

I'm going to go and add to my notes on everyone for whatever good that will do.

re the vote scanner thing. derry absolutely needs to tell us who he gave that to.

that persons then must follow the on thread consensus about how to use it, to get must bang for our buck.

that person then needs to be lycnhed to verify that info...this is not necessary but may prove to be

Personally, I think I have done more then enough for people to get an opinion of me, whether that's good or bad. We need to start getting reads on others.

Fiona was a high level poster, as was Lucy when she was munched so wolves arent going after low posters. Maybe its because wolves are hiding in the lower ones ?

Lucy has been out of the games nearly 48 hours and there are still posters with less posts than her.

The person with the scanner should absolutely NOT follow on thread consensus for where to use it.

IDIOT VILLAGERS: Use it on Clodagh

Wolves: Let's not vote for Clodagh so.

the scanner needs to be used on the player with the 1st/2nd/3rd most votes.

that way we have a pool of maybe 3/4 where there is at least 1 wolf.
or those ~3/4 players are cleared as village

used in any other way is near pointless and will point towards a wolf using the scanner

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,016 ✭✭✭Clodagh WW

I'm getting frustrated...I'll apologise to anyone who may be offended by the idiot villagers comment. I'm really just talking about myself.

Regarding the scanner, Gabriel, the idea of lynching the person who has it is a possibility although it is a poisoned chalice of a prize so. I think it will have to depend on numbers.

Only problem is if a wolf has the scanner its pointless. We'd have to be all in and follow through and hope for the best.

Steve voted for me because Nigel gave him the scanner power and Nigel voted for me. So Steve voted for me because Nigel did, apparently. Ive said it before, this could be a village or wolf play. A wolf getting the scanner could make this up. With no wolves in contention, voting for me was safe enough.

Him putting the scanner on me afterwards plays no roll in his decision to vote for me. So either we believe he felt Nigel was good and was onto something about me or hes a wolf that had nothing to lose and easy excuse to vote for me. I think we need more then that to condemn a person.

lets see where the votes are going this evening and we can make the call at 8.30pm or whatever who makes the most sense to be scanned.

if its someone with 4 votes..clear 4 villagers or have at least 25% chance of getting wolf

someone with 3 votes: clear 3 villagers or at least 33% chance of hitting wolf.

i think anyone with 2 or less votes should not be scanned.

but yes, the person with the scanner may be a wolf. thats why i said they will need to killed eventually unless they are cleared by other means.
