"Or paid the loan in other ways I suppose" - as in....paid the loan?

Hi Joe, I was stupid and greedy and took the money. Who can I blame.

Hi Joe my mother cashed in and spent her money and assets instead of living in poverty, dying and leaving it all to me like a good Irish mammy. Who can I blame because it doesn't feel right to blame her (the greedy bitch).

I think that summs up today's episode.

"De height of de lunacy, no connection of course."

    No connection to what?

Mrs Mildred O'Lunacy of Chancer Court?

This started to gain traction when the nice people realised that if you gave your bank details ( and car keys ) to a friend and they cleared out your a/c. You’d get all the money back.
They expect all them auld pesky loans to be wiped off. I mean the old dears had all but forgotten about them.
When I had finished my mortgage I looked at this and thought it was bad value. I think I was right.
Yer wan just said you had to own your house. I was just about to take out a loan on the house of someone I don’t like, foiled.

Auld saying eaten bread is soon forgotten. Glad now I didn’t take the loan to go on a world tour.

    This is financial illiteracy.

I've been saying for years that every kid that attends school in this country should have access to tuition in finance and technology,#.

It make more sense to me than learning irish poetry

I absolutely HATE having my picture taken. I've been all around the world and to many historic and picturesque sights. I have about 4 photos of places with me in them.
