It's a good warning to be fair. If you take out a loan at 6% compound interest and pay nothing back for 16 years you'll end up owing more money than you got.
    Who knew?

Women took out a loan on her house for 80k in 205. No repayments. Not happy that interest was charged.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,117 ✭✭✭ShamNNspace

All she bought was a car sez she in 2006...pound to a penny it was brand new

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,529 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

3 percent is a pretty normal interest rate in ireland

    4 bedrooms....just her and husband...sell it...easy.
It's a life loan you know the terms and conditions

Sorry I missed the start, so don't really understand what is wrong? She took an 80k loan (did what with it), did she pay nothing back? and now is crying?
