It’s been a few years since I’ve played before this season. The assist for Dias where the keeper saves his header and stones puts the rebound away. Has that always been an assist. Seems way too generous. Assists in general seem too generous in fpl I think.

    Yep always an assist.

    75 with 11 to play on wildcard.HEWT

73(-4) with 15 to play including 5 of my bench boost.

Debated over Stones and Cancelo and at the last minute settled up splashing out on the 'upgrade' to Cancelo as he had more attacking potential! :)

Congrats to those who have Stones!

75 from 10, Wilson to play tomorrow night and all 11 playing again during the week (assuming Vardy is fit).

Considering I got a total of 8 from Bruno, Salah and Vardy I'm delighted with that

51 from my defence and gk (Stones, Dias, Maguire, Dawson, Mendy). When it's your week it's your week.

40 points. Ouch. And down I go from 4K to 11k and will probably fall further.

I mentioned at the time that the first WC would more than likely have a negative effect on my team that was flying at the time and it has.

I set my team up with DGW players at the time but, since then, City have had a DGW added and Leeds/Saints lost there’s which meant I had six between those two teams and no City.

At the time I played it, I had both Stones and KDB and never would have taken them out had I know about the Ciry double.

    Ah well.

Oucher. 34 points. Down from 12K to 33K - amazing how damaging a bad week can be. Mostly my own fault as well - had plans for KdB or Antonio but short .1s for either, didn't want to take a -4 and somehow ended up with Mahrez.

i think it's a season of taking hits and using the loaf, i've also started getting players who've had covid in the hope they won't get it again, 38 transfers for me so far and sitting on 1122 points so doing ok

    49 (-4). Down to 658,904.

Anything John Stones can do, Kieran Tierney can do better. Right?!

Very welcome news - thank you.

Its been a Johnstone week so far, Arsenal conceding tonight and Antonio, Coufal and Vardy performing magic tomorrow may salvage something

Villa look to still be fecked up with Corona going on comments by Dean Smith, wouldn't be surprised if the likes of Grealish, Watkins etc end up missing the City game. Would hope they are back for the Newcastle game. Wouldn't be surprised if Grealish has it after he was whoring around during Christmas

“I told one player that he’d tested positive and he said ‘no chance, I’m flying, really good, totally asymptomatic’, two days later he’s laid up in bed. He ended up symptomatic. So we’ve had a mixture of some players being asymptomatic and some with symptoms." #AVFC

[...] “The hardest part about this is they all come back at different stages now as well, some have obviously got the symptoms earlier than others. So we’re trying to get a timetable now, which is very staggered, of when they will all come back.” #AVFC

[...] "It was really weird. We were all negative on the 31 December. We went to play Manchester United and I think we got tested on the 4th after that. The results take about 24-hours to come through, and we had nine positive tests."

He doesnt suggest that the individual is still in bed with it though?

Does that 9 positive test include staff btw?

I hope Martinez and Grealish play. I'd actually want Watkins to skip the game as he is unable to score, so pretty much any1 up front would do better and may actually take City's clean sheet away :pac:

    Ive heard Grealish was training.

Its Martinez I am worried about. If any1 can stop KDB it has to be him.

This Villa v City game has big potential for both sides regarding a top 4 position.

I saw ones of him on a bike with a trainer but he was wishing the trainer lad a HB - so could have been from a while ago.

All Martinez has put up over last few days has been him inside playing football with his dog.

I never looked at his insta before this GW so maybe that's normal. Watkins hasn't put up anything.

Good to know he isnt the one in bed with covid.

I hope his dog knows how to shoot, otherwise Martinez wudve had little training for like 2 weeks :pac:

What are people looking at this week. I'd be disappointed not to be hitting 150 points.

Could hit the double ton if Stones and Dias keep up their attacking prowess :-)

Currently sitting on 83 (-4)....really need TC Salah to at least match KDB or I'm going to lose ground in my leagues and probably narrowly lose a couple of H2H games as well

I took a -4 and used no chips this week so my plan was always to hopefully see green arrows and I'd be happy.

Sitting on 60 (-4) and 90k OR at the moment.

11 to play, once I'm ahead of OR I'm happy enough. 104 or higher be nice.

55 (-8), small drop of 9k to 765k which surprised me as I would have thought I would be worse than that. Wilson, Martinez and 8 other players to play including captain.

After that **** show by Arsenal last week, I hope Wilson punishes them. He has to score eventually

Have had him the last few weeks. Going to hang onto him regardless going forward because I never have him for any of his hauls and it has to happen eventually!

I'll ship him out after this week I'd say unless he does something special

I could potentially manage 120 if the rest of the games went decently, few clean sheets etc. No chips and sitting with 71 and 10 more to play

I have Bamford, Antonio and Wilson now and I am hopefully going to leave it at that for a while, at least until I see a better alternative going forward. Plan on going without Kane for the moment.
