Yeah, I just think a solid CB partnership is something you don't mess with. Particularly when you have NEVER had one in your City career.

Think it's a bit too early yet to call them a solid partnership. Most of the teams they've kept clean sheets against you'd have expected it. I'll be interested to see how they get on against Pool and Spurs.

70 with 11 to go but doubts over KDB & Vardy for the next set of games.

There are zero doubts about KDB. Even if he played the full 90 tonight there wouldn’t be doubts.

City have Cheltenham in the Cup at the weekend. KDB gets his rest there.

50(-4) feels a bit meh. Weeks like this and last are a bit frustrating when we look at some many different options of players to get in for DGW or on FH and the ones we dont get score well like Stones/Gundogan

All the viable options scored this week so just depends how many you have. I've 53 which so far is fine but feels like I could have lot a left of points behind too. Too early to tell yet

Gundogan, Antonio, Maddison, Barnes, Stones, Mount, Chilwell, Dias etc

52(-4) so similar enough . Charlie Taylor out for minus 4 to Stones saved me . Took a big risk and captained Foden but might do something for me yet . Hate DGWs . Be happy to get about 85 and definitely wildcarding next game week

    My thinking also.

I can now go Grealish KDB Bruno Salah, Antonio, Kane, Bamford after next GW at -4. I think, all except Grealish would be penalty takers for their respective teams. And Grealish could be penalty taker for Villa except for he is a nice guy.
Have that 7 myself except I've Son instead of Kane. Has served me well for quite some time now.

Finding that extra 1.8 to go for Kane instead of Son would unfortunately not be doable for me.

51 with 11 to play HEWT

48 (-4) ... Seems to be average enough, if Zouma misses the next game I have mount (11points and a game to go) coming in.
Have KDB as captain, so the early exit in todays game might allow him more time in the next game.

Have you 3 starting defenders outside of Zouma?

Looks like KDB went off injured, was holding an ice pack

    Stones single handedly saving me.

    61 from 9.

Yeah chilwell, Justin and Robertson.... Actually had Maguire and put him on the bench kept bamford in my team expecting him to get one but that didn't happen.

I'm sure KDB will be grand for the next game.... He is probably peps first name on teamsheet.

Surprised mount on your bench as he has 2 games

I had mount, Maguire and che Adams on the bench mount and Maguire both have double fixtures , my only other player who didn't was bamford, thought he would get something from the single fixture but ...got it wrong.

Rejigged the FH team a bit to go with Rashford instead of Bruno:
    Mendy
    Stones Cancelo Cresswell
    Salah KDB(c) Rashford Soucek Mount
    Antonio Vardy
    Bench full of playing fodder.

Hewt for now but a bit nervous with triple West Ham
79 after the first round of games despite a few blanks, definitely hewt if Kevin plays the next game too

Was Bench Boost not an option?

51 (-4) with 11 to go is a little underwhelming but I currently have a 14 point lead on my cup opponent and more DGW players than him to go so HEWT

Afraid not, wasted that earlier I the season to compensate for a -8 points hit.

From a FPL point of view, they've conceded 2 goals in 2 months. Couldn't be more solid. 2 months of points going a begging

I was back and forth between Cancelo and Dias and went Cancelo :(

of course money league leader has played his bench boost - who's on his bench ?

    2nd sub Antonio
    3rd sub John Stones

He'll never be caught lol :D

1 garbage time goal conceded in 8 games together. It would be hard to call them anything else.

Are they his actual bench players or did he just put them on the bench for the BB and added fume?

    I've scored 37......

    Damage limitation time.

Can’t imagine how you could have 11 better players than them really

I've seen a couple teams on twitter that have played BB with the likes of Lowton & Brewster starting with Dias & Vardy on the bench with BB played. It's not a 'real' BB but can appreciate that's it only done for a wind up.

Sure it’s fine really, as long as you don’t make a mess of it and forget to confirm

Antonio is probably padding but his defense was Dias - Dallas - Coufal - Chilwell . I mean, John Stones not guaranteed his spot, so bench for stones highly possible with that first 4 defenders

Very nice defence and BB then! I'd still be starting Stones over Dallas though myself.

It’s been a few years since I’ve played before this season. The assist for Dias where the keeper saves his header and stones puts the rebound away. Has that always been an assist. Seems way too generous. Assists in general seem too generous in fpl I think.

Picked the wrong man city defender and missed out on the Stones differential. Left me on the back foot in leagues. Telling myself it's only HT in the week and Salah can come good against Burnley.

You have to keep the hope.
