No it doesn’t. None of us knows what’s going on in the background. I’m sure we’ll have the number shortly. Doesn’t make much difference whether we get it at 5pm or 11pm or somewhere in between.

I would say they might be considering how to answer the inevitable questions about school opening. Do they hang the government out to dry.... or not. Who said what and when, it might take some time to get the story straight.

Its not my job to contact all the testing centers and ask for there last 24 hours numbers then add them up and release.. I really don't see who this isn't nearly automatic at this stage.

Don't see how the backlog is clear when there's about 8k swabs unannounced, they're hardly all re-tests.
