    Ryan Searle likes this :)

Good stuff from Bunting to rattle off 4 sets.

Always felt he’s underperformed since moving over from the BDO. When on top form he’s very very good.

This world championship has been very good to my bank balance so far. Going to risk it all by lumping on Wade to beat Searle.. He was lucky against Hybrechts, only beat him by 3 legs. 30% on doubles won't cut it against Wade.

Did Wade beat Bunting this afternoon? Feck it must have missed that one,

No he beats him Tuesday afternoon ;)

    :D

    Agree,
    And good riddance to Wade
As usual, could barely muster a hand shake at the end there
The game needs less Wades and Andersons and more Dirks and Asps

Wade looked like he's suffering from PTSD from being on the receiving end of all those live 9 darters in the past :pac:

To be fair, i loved the likes of Wade and MVG when they first broke onto the scene. Unfortunately they became insufferable arseholes on stage. It may just be the path of overy dart player barring some exceptions.

Good set there between Dobey and Gurney
    Both playing very solid

    Lowe is painful to watch

Does 9 darter from Wade but going by the score Bunting seemed on top. Congrats to him for progressing and finding a bit of his old BDO form

Didn't see the Gurney vs Dobey game yet

    Round 4
    Gabriel Clemens vs Krzysztof Ratajski
    MVG vs Joe Cullen
    VDV vs Daryl Gurney
    Stephen Bunting vs Ryan Searle
    DVD vs Glen Durrant
    Gary Anderson vs Devon Petersen
    Gerwyn Price vs Mervyn King
    DVDB vs Dave Chisnall/Danny Noppert

    QF1 Michael van Gerwen/Joe Cullen vs Dave Chisnall/Danny Noppert/DVDB

    QF2 Gary Anderson/Devon Petersen vs DVD/Glen Durrant

QF3- Gabriel Clemens/Krzysztof Ratajski vs Stephen Bunting vs Ryan Searle

    QF4- Gerwyn Price/Mervyn King vs VDV/Daryl Gurney

QF3 is some crazy pairing, can't think of anyone who would predicted those 4 in it

One more win sees Durrant in top 10 of the rankings. That's even without his Grandslam semi final counting twards his ranking. Justin Credible will still find a way to say he's not a top 10 player.

    Gurney very impressive
Back at his best, heavy scoring and great finishing
Dobey played very well too , unlucky to come up against gurney in such good form

Delighted to see the back of Wade, he just can't cut it at the worlds it seems

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,651 ✭✭✭US2

    Brilliant from Noppert so far

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,274 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

    Still fancy Chizzy
Noppert cant keep taking those out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,054 ✭✭✭D.Q

Chizzy is like clockwork once that first dart hits the treble.

As I say that he hits treble 5

Always a big man Chizzy has put on a chunk of weight since I last saw him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,412 ✭✭✭shockframe

    Colin Lloyd punching the board!

You'd miss old Lloydy . A great character.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,462 ✭✭✭Bob Harris

Anyone else notice that the camera only focuses in on the panel member speaking but never the presenter? When she's talking it's a wide angle of all of them.

Was it Dave Clark on commentary with "he's obviously been working out" that time Lloyd took his shirt off

Looks like quite a few players have over lockdown this year.

Dolan looked to be carrying a bit of extra condition last night as well!

Yes strangely I have noticed this

Didn't take much notice but I'd much rather a close up of Laura than Mardle

Nervy early doors in this one

Mark Webster is the best co-comms by a country mile
Pity they wouldn't dispense with Marble and give his slots to Webster

Has webster retired completely or just lost his tour card?

  • Registered Users Posts: 37,799 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

    Ratajski is handy

Can see him getting a PL place (If there will be one in 2021) if he brings the profile of the game up in Poland

As far as I remember he lost his card last year and decided not to go to Q school, said he would take the year to get his game in shape
Haven't heard if he intends to go back to Q school in January

Not entering. Said he's happy enough doing punditry
