I've really tried but I just can't come to love a SystemSix.

Was a big fan of the SuperSix and do like the 'Dales.
That *is* a SuperSix. They released a new version last year.

That's very bad news, so now they have two marmite models at the upper end of their racing portfolio

What is it with these seat stay placements that burns the retinas :pac:

The old one was a thing of beauty alright. The dropped seat stays on the new one are supposed to be more aero, and allow more flex in the seat tube, improving comfort. Eminently practical to be sure, but far too similar to every other 2020 superbike.

Lovely, normally I'd be celeste all the way with Bianchi but the one in the bluey green is the real beauty here.

Actually I think I recall reading these are the bikes Mitchelton Scott (or what ever they will be called) will be riding next season instead of the Oltre Jumbo Visa used.

I love the fact that those Bianchi's don't have dropped stays.

Unfinished Mrs' bike, but I thought it looked pretty cool and clean and worth a post.
Hard to believe it's a 2012 reg with a hape of miles on the clock. Retired to the attic a couple of years ago, built up for my daughter who never used it, dismantled again and put away, and now heading for new R8000 surgery, ready for posh super-trainer duties.

That’s too nice for trainer use - what size is it by the way? 51?? How many miles has it got??

Built up now and ready for road.

For 10 years now I've been a firm believer that your training bike should also be as "nice" a bike as possible. After all its the bike on which you do a huge proportion, maybe even the majority, of your riding. It's all a question of what the bike is worth to you. That r5 is a 48. It has 6 years racing on it. She was talking about getting a new winter trainer. A basic enough one could easily cost 1500 quid. Yet if we tried to sell the R5 we'd probably be lucky to get 1500 for it. So what's the smart move? Give the R5 away to someone else for buttons while you ride an aluminium tiagra yoke? - Doesn't add up for me. Ride the nice bike and just be sure to mind it!

i did a doubletake on that - my eye saw a triple on it, but it's just the way the light is hitting the area around the BB.

Good to know, I can stop coming in here to look at it so. It's too expensive.
Beautiful bike though, love the colour

I love everything but the spoke pattern on the wheels, for my 2000 euro wheelset I'll have a more traditional pattern thanks.

It'll be 2 v 1 Ramm!!!! Where to start, the miss matched spokes between wheels, the bottles, the clash between the frame logos and the wheels stuff.

To the images of ugly thread with you :D

Mis-matched spokes? You mean the classic Campag tri-spoke pattern? I've been away from here too long ;-)

I mentioned I'm no fan of the tri spoke pattern earlier in the thread but to have one of each is getting me all kinds of triggered.

    I need a beer now :D
