Mayo's defense leakier than a sieve with the goal chances.

Conroy hasn’t settled to the occasion at all compared to the other younger Mayo lads. Mullen looking excellent

Better team are losing, and that's why Dublin are champions I guess. Mayo can improve a little, Dublin can improve a lot.

Standard is poor, but even the pitch looks poor. Lots of slips, drops, miskicks.

Obvious lack of training time, match time after this year, and at least its even mess ups on both sides.

2 poor misses by Kilkenny now

Dublin do not look right though.

I’m a bit worried about Dessie making right calls if it’s close after 60. He hasn’t had to handle such a big pressure game...

This game a lot closer than many, including myself, had expected. This will be a good test for Dessie Farrell to see how he copes under serious pressure in terms of making adjustments to his side at half time

Dublin showing more now at stroke of half time

id say it will be over before then... dublin getting into the groove... think Mayo have given their best

Mayo forwards really love running into big groups of Dublin defenders and losing the ball.

    Blatant black card.

Clear pulling and dragging on O Shea there

third quarter always the strongest one for the Dubs as well so Mayo could do with being ahead

Mayo playing as good as they can, Dubs just below their normal, tighter than most are expected, mcdaid black card

Would somebody not have a word with Bugler about that thing?

I'm not sure of all the fouls to pick out and give a black card for, that was the one that deserved it.

Interesting to see how that affects Dublin in the stage of the game where they usually pull away.

    what did 7 blue do??

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,041 ✭✭✭C__MC

    Nothing in it
    Good game

Mayo need the mantra 'kill the ****ing ball' drilled into their heads, over and back over and back over and back then pass it into the goalies hands ffs

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,505 ✭✭✭✭Mad_maxx

superb attitude and energy from Mayo though , Only for them , every game this past six years was a turkey shoot with the Dubs

What was it? I didn’t see it and they didn’t show a replay.

    Blatant black card.

Dublin pull off that screen after the pass all the time, just too blatant for once there.

25 minute break for McDaid - lovely says he.

Big there for Mayo, could undo Dublins usual strength in the 3rd quarter

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,896 ✭✭✭Patser

Winner will be which ever team cuts out all the basic errors
