Even Xmas FM played the real version of it the other day.

I thought this had blown over and we all accepted it as it was meant to be. I don't even think Gay people find it offensive? I think it's people getting offended on their behalf.

I think using the word Queer is acceptable now, but it was not when Garbage released their single "Queer" in 1995 and that song was not banned, even though the word Queer is mentioned around 20 times in the song.

It does not make sense that songs like wap and side to side and many many rap songs with explicit sexual language are allowed that even the likes of doctor dre would turn off if he heard it

You obviously haven't heard WAP or side to side on the radio before; the explicit words are removed from it. WAP's radio version is pretty much just the instrumental due to words being censored. Why should it be different for Fairytale of New York??
