Best of luck lads and lassies.
I can see them putting pressure on your kick-outs, with midfield being a bit of a battleground and Sweeney and Quinlivan will need minding but overall Mayo have too much quality all over the pitch.

Looks foggy enough around Croke Park. Expect most of the game will be played under lights.

Best of luck to Mayo today! Hope Mayo have done their homework on Tipperary and have done something with their midfield.

Don’t usually get to watch pre match coverage as I am at the matches
Sky Sports analysis should have driven rte on
Instead all we got was sly tweets and comments regarding Sky Bri g the big bad wolf whilst they continue to roll out dinosaurs from eras long gone with agendas

I could listen to Jim McGuiness all day . Very insightful
Interesting too that Peter Canavan very impressed with us and what Tommy Conroy has added to the team

Do we anticipate any last minute changes?

Such a subdued build up for myself anyway but the nerves kicking in now. Have an awful feeling we're going to start slow.

We will win this. Ive Eoin Mc backed big for this!

Sky coverage far superior but non HD in my house so will be back to RTE for the actual match.

Analysts on both stations (and on every podcast I heard this week) all back Mayo by 4 or 5 points.

I was at both the recent games vs Tipp and would expect a similar encounter today....our experience and our bench should win this for us

Chris is really struggling with Sweeney's height advantage.

We're wide open at the back.

Dublin will be licking their lips at this. 3 goal chances for Tipp in 10 or 11 minutes, too easy for them and surely a great target for Dublin to aim at should Mayo make the final

And of course hasn't been switched off him

Durcan must have dropped four shots into the goalies hands at this stage.

Mayo have settled a bit but our full back line looks rattled to say the least

The fog might be our biggest threat now

I’d sub Cillian at the earliest possible opportunity
He has not been this fit in 6 years

He’s on for the championship record

    I think it’s Rory Gallagher with 3-9

I’m sure he would rather a crack at a Celtic Cross
No point taking risks with him

Where is the poster who wanted him to be an impact sub for the last 20 minutes of games gone to .......

It's all down to the turnovers .
Tipp have turned the ball over more times in this half than Dublin have in the last 5 years .
Impressive from Mayo .... BUT BUT BUT ..
Dublin as everyone knows are a different level to this .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,472 ✭✭✭wirelessdude01

Take off Aido and Cillian. Put on Coen and Carr.

    Game over.

To many semi final days have been enjoyed....These Mayo players especially the older ones need to enjoy the biggest of days .
