Bad enough being packed in with the students all week, don't want to be packed in with their parents at the weekend either 😋

    Truth !

Think the subs bench will make interesting reading for this game. Fully expect Boyler to make it for this game.

Surprised that Stephen Rochford in The Examiner did not warn Mayo of the dangers of underestimating Tipperary. Donegal were complacent against Cavan and paid a high price. In The Examiner he seemed to dismiss Tipp (when he was Mayo Manager in 2016 and 2018, Tipp really put it up to Mayo on both occasions, lucky goals for Mayo on both occasions helped to get us out of jail). Tipp are a stronger Team now and they have a Munster Title which is bound to give them extra confidence. It will be fatal for Mayo if they are looking past Tipp. I would love to see a Mayo player have a game on Sunday like Thomas Galligan had for Cavan.

I was hoping the same. Croke Park suits him.

Zippy is another man that I'd be certain will have a key role on Sunday.

Mayo News Podcasts have been super in the lead up to the game.

Great interview with Kevin Mc Stay,a Mayo man to his very core.

Couldn't agree more with his analysis and of course I'm in agreement with his prediction.:)

Anybody else concur that there's been a noticeable media blackout from our camp?Copying the Dublin template!:D

I never really care to hear too much pre match, much rather we do our talking on the pitch.

Stephen Coen seems to have been released for media duties this week. Saw a piece where he was talking about winning Freshers and Sigerson with some of the Tipp lads. Two of them were in the same class as him in UCD.

Looks like Elvery's are pulling sponsorship from McHale Park and also the slot on the back of the jerseys due to Covid issues. I'd heard this rumour a few weeks ago but my dad has heard it from an ex county board officer this evening so seems to have some legs.

Tim O Leary is back tweeting again.

Tis an easy way for him to weasel his way back into the #MayoGAA scene. They'd be silly to take anything he offers. Once it is awarded to someone else he'll start with the rants again.

Agree. Announcing his intention publicly says it all. Would be more of the same.

Irish Examiner was excellent, had Rochford and McConville on, bth very impressive. They didn't spare Rochford with the questions. Talked about decisions he had made and he brought up '16 replay and dropping Clarke, playing AOS full back. Also asked him what went wrong with Donegal this year. Really excellent listen

Listened to this also and found it very good. A great mixture of tactical chat about the games and general chat about past games. Hearing Rochford talk about Alan Dillon and his injury in 2016 was very interesting.

Is that really true of 2016? As I remember Mayo never looked like losing that game...

Not really true of either day. ‘18 we put on a serious scoring spurt for 10 minutes in the second half and they couldn’t keep with us

Whatever it is they should steer clear of it. Once bitten, twice shy. A leopard doesn't change it's spot.

Times have changed. They are broke now. Be nice to have his money now.

Don't think anything is worth bringing a fox into the henhouse. He equates money with having an influence on team matters. Remember earlier in the year he wanted Horan removed. That was the last straw for the county board and they then cut all ties and told him to keep his money and whatever he claimed to have control of. This all occured after mediation had occured between all parties.

You have no proof he wanted control of team matters.

Some people here didn't want Horan to get the job again.

    Unchanged team

Mayo will contest a 9th All Ireland semi-final in 10 years when they face Tipperary in Croke Park at 3.30pm tomorrow.

Mayo claimed a first Connacht title since 2015 against Galway three weeks ago and the team named for tomorrow is unchanged from that win. Sunday will see two time All-star goalkeeper David Clarke play his 55th championship game for Mayo and 132nd appearance overall (55 championship, 77 league). He made his championship debut back in 2005 against Roscommon. The game is live on both RTE Two & Sky Sports.

    1. David Clarke - Ballina Stephenites
    2. Oisín Mullin - Kilmaine
    3. Chris Barrett - Clontarf
    4. Lee Keegan - Westport
    5. Patrick Durcan - Castlebar Mitchels
    6. Stephen Coen - Hollymount/Carramore
    7. Eoghan McLaughlin - Westport
    8. Conor Loftus - Crossmolina Deel Rovers
    9. Matthew Ruane - Breaffy
    10. Kevin McLoughlin - Knockmore
    11. Ryan O'Donoghue - Belmullet
    12. Diarmuid O’Connor - Ballintubber
    13. Tommy Conroy - The Neale
    14. Aidan O’Shea - Breaffy (C)
    15. Cillian O’Connor - Ballintubber

Is it possible for a leopard to change his spots?
