More Christmas joy on liveline..for anybody feeling down they should listen to these uplifting stories

Maybe this is a rather self centred or selfish way of looking at things but when I go for pints my first thought is my own safety.

Then you consider the safety of those around you.

No sympathy, lucky they didn't kill someone else

Did Joe just say it happened in May 2007?

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,703 ✭✭✭✭BPKS

I know of two different cases in the last couple of years almost identical in nature.

A group of lads out together.

One goes home drunk to bed.

Gets a call from his friends a while later.

Hops into his car and goes to collect them.

    Fatal accident.

What's she looking for out of this?

Yeah. I said the same yesterday when I heard the story. They all got into the car together. It's horrific but serving the drivers head on a plate will not bring back her son.

She probably hasn’t topped it up in months!
This is like the stories of where the insurance had just expired when the house burned down?

There's signage everywhere saying fine is €50, there's low balance warnings at the machines when you get to €5.
