    Hopefully with retirements & Brexit as you mentioned, there will be enough places to go around for all the different competitions.

    Here I was thinking I’d be grand, I got placed on 2 panels & picked 3 locations. I placed no 1 on 1 panel for all 3 locations & placed within top 4 on other panel for all locations.
    Were you lucky to get an offer eventually? If so, how are you liking the position?

    It also depends on counties selected some have little chance of having positions for an AO. Need to put a bit of thought into location selection otherwise it is pot luck.

    Does anyone know if there has been any movement on promotion from the panels? I know one person mentioned an appointment in Dublin the other week but has there been anything since?

    Just got an email - they have reached my number for Dublin - Tax panel. Hopefully they are taking lots of people! Good luck to all.

    Is there any movement on the data analytics panel? Seems as though tax and accounting are the main ones utilised.

    I got offered Limerick yesterday re the Taxation panel but declined as it was my 3rd location preference & waiting hopefully for first or second choice location.

    I presume we will be offered positions from whatever panel as they arise in whatever location.

    Great to see movement all the same!!

    I have been offered a position in Cork for the law panel. Not my first choice location, but worried no positions will arise in my chosen locations...
