Commentary In Irish on Rte 2 or is it just the rte player?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,558 ✭✭✭✭castletownman

Cummins said that Waterford haven't yet met a team with a half-forward line that is strong in the air.

He mustn't watch Gearoid Hegarty or the rest of the Limerick lads play then.

Must be just the RTE player.

While since Waterford were in Croker, it'll take some time to find the posts.

Just the rte player. It won’t let you use the English for some reason(well the reason is rte player) so I’ve stopped using it.

The waterford goalie should have came for the ball

Too easy. Kilkenny look far more composed.

You can stick a fork in this one already.

    Waterford looking a bit stagestruck

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,534 ✭✭✭Chalk McHugh

Jake Dillon so ponderous in possession is indicative of Waterford's slopiness. This could get away from them very quickly.

Fact he'd lost his balance from the save probably the reason for that

Waterford's first touches are atrocious. So many times various players failing to take possession under little or no pressure.

Kilkenny well in control, Waterford off the pace

Case in point from that Waterford puck out. Straight to the corner back only for it to boink him on the helmet.

    Kilkenny missing some sitters

Disappointing, Waterford failing to execute the basics all over the pitch

    Not Waterfords day

    Kilkenny far more hungrier

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,534 ✭✭✭Chalk McHugh

Waterford fortunate to be just five in arrears but Kilkenny look the far better team.

Kilkenny five point up but all that hurling and dominance and only five points?

Disaster for Waterford so far. Every time they go forwards the touches/decisions/handpasses are terrible. Hanging in there though, kilkenny should be further ahead.

Buckley has been very good at 6 for Kilkenny, cleaning up alot of stuff back there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,534 ✭✭✭Chalk McHugh

Cahill wielding the axe early as Dillon was well off the pace.

wwe have seen how the water break can make a difference to a team.... id say liam cahill delighted to be able to have a word with them for a min.. i would think that if water breaks werent there.. game would be over at halftime

Waterford can’t control the ball at all. And then some awful wides from Waterford.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 11,451 Mod ✭✭✭✭Hammer Archer

Croke Park must be very slippy. Same as in the football last weekend, players losing their footing all over the place.
That was the worst wide of the lot.

    Ref giving everything to Kilkenny

You will never beat Kilkenny by missing so many poor wides Gleeson's latest one was awful.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,474 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

There is an awful lot of poor play and misses.

  • Registered Users Posts: 592 ✭✭✭Corcaigh84

Hutchinson taking way too much out of the ball, like a training match. What a miss from Gleeson off his left

  • Registered Users Posts: 68 ✭✭major interest

Their touch is well off, not used to seeing de burca at it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,229 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    Game over

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,023 ✭✭✭Speakerboxx

    That's it. Adios Waterford

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 11,451 Mod ✭✭✭✭Hammer Archer

Game over already by the looks of it unless Kilkenny collapse like they did against Dublin.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,243 ✭✭✭C__MC

TJ Reid is a magician and a warrior
    Magnificent hurler

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,534 ✭✭✭Chalk McHugh

And therein lies the difference. This game is done.
