Apparently the back story is that this is a normal desk that President sits at when they're signing bills and are surrounded by throngs of people.

It gives lots of people an opportunity to be standing right next to the president. It's not meant for a press briefing.

There's literally a press briefing room for that purpose.

    Unbelievable

This sounds like an exam question where the student has no clue about the answer, but writes something hoping there's enough bull**** to score one or two points.

And the question is "Describe massive election fraud".

Biden can only enter the White House as President if he can prove that his ridiculous “80,000,000 votes” were not fraudulently or illegally obtained. When you see what happened in Detroit, Atlanta, Philadelphia & Milwaukee, massive voter fraud, he’s got a big unsolvable problem!

    Another rant

It's like whack-a-mole. One fraud believer departs another pops their head up.

They are quoting a Trump tweet, just didn't specify that in the post.

He thinks the burden of proof is not with the side making allegations? He’s some man for the delusion.

The problem for Biden is that Trump's idiot supporters will lap all that nonsense up.

I can see Trump buying OAN or that other deluded news network I've forgotten the name of and trying to make himself out to be the next Rupert Murdoch.

    This too shall pass.

That would be the best thing imaginable.

Within a year it would go bust.

And that's another loss for Rudes in PA

PA courts deny motion to prevent certification of results. If you use incognito mode you can bypass the paywall.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/federal-appeals-court-rejects-trump-request-for-emergency-injunction-to-overturn-certification-of-pennsylvanias-election-results/2020/11/27/556540ba-30d7-11eb-bae0-50bb17126614_story.html
A federal appeals court on Friday rejected President Trump’s request for an emergency injunction to overturn the certification of Pennsylvania’s election results.

The Third Circuit Court of Appeals said that the Trump campaign’s challenge of a U.S. district court’s decision had “no merit.”

The court’s sharply worded opinion was written by Judge Stephanos Bibas, who was appointed to the court by Trump.

“Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here,” Bibas wrote.

Looks like he's going to the Supreme Court after all
Jenna Ellis, a legal adviser to the Trump campaign, said in a tweet following the decision that the campaign would take its appeal to the Supreme Court.

“We are very thankful to have had the opportunity to present proof and the facts to the PA state legislature,” she wrote. “On to SCOTUS!”

Is that the Ellis that called Trump a criminal dirt bag whose supporters don't care about facts or logic?

I suppose if she is getting free money for folly, I'd advise payment up front though.

That's not quite how the Supreme court works, you'd think a 'lawyer' would know that.

They can't take the core case to SCOTUS, they can only take the refusal of the appeal and only on the basis of a specific point of law. So at best they get to back to the original court who will tell them to get stuffed again.

The decisions of the two lower courts haven't been 'legal' ones as such. They have just effectively been - " You have no evidence, feck off".

Trump genuinely believes that he has a "marker" that he can call in with SCOTUS. He really really doesn't.

The guys he seated will have to work with the next 5 or 6 Presidents at least.. He's a fading blip on their radar.

I think he has this mafia mentality. He basically thinks since he put 3 of the SCOTUS in there, they will be loyal to him. So basically no matter what, they will always rule in his favour.

But as you say, he doesn't actually understand the process and I bet his lawyers don't want to say that to him.

Interesting tweet from pundit Kevin McCullough.

    "GOOD MORNING!
In PA a judge halted certification.
In WI a judge allowed a petition on 150k ballots.
In NV a judge sched evidentiary hearing.
In MI @SidneyPowell1: military intel & can prove switches.
In GA #SidPow1 can show Dominion bribe
    & @LLinWood got exp/review in 11th"

    It's defo game on.
Republicans in PA are plotting in the wake of hearings at Gettysburg which heard damning testimony from witnesses that the evidence is so strong that they will appoint pro Trump electors.
Biden's lead in WI could be cut drastically as no mandatory requests were made for up to 100000 votes spread between two counties in the state. If they are tossed Trump wins the state and he get those electoral votes.
Steve Bannon has said that if one state flips the rest will follow.
The mainstream media is going to be completely blindsided.
Trump posted a video of a lion fighting off hyenas using Christopher Walken's famous lion monologue from Poolhall Junkies.
The man is confident of total victory.
He may pull this one off!!!

Thomas will say "You aint President!"
