This caller does not believe in punctuation clearly

Well the host doesn't believe in grammar or correct pronunciation amongst other things so she's in good company.

Remind me of that old joke.

I haven't spoken to my wife in 6 months. I didn't like to interrupt.

There are two things that this programme excels in.
Luvvies talking about themselves, and the host hanging on every word.
Patients describing every detail of a serious treatment, and ditto.
Death is a bonus and the cleanup crew arrive in the studio at 3.01pm

Endometriosis, IBS, back pain - unfortunately once disease etc is ruled out, you can only manage pain

    No cure, so to speak

May the consultant was just considering her mental health, wanting her to see a psychiatrist ...

I know all about adhesions. They will not remove them unless they are causing acute obstruction, simply because they tend to come back. If you have a stoma you know all about it. I have much worse stuff that has bothered me.

FFS, surely Duffy and this caller realise patients are triaged for clinics, if it was possibly "terminal", they would not be waiting
