Wooden Spoon should go to somebody who didn't deliberately try to get it :D

I thought Reb was a 'he', though I could be wrong - they're welcome to correct me if they see this! :)

You are definitely correct on one thing though - Reb's lead was unsurmountable. Not only does Malcolm X score a healthily low 3 points, but Reb's closest challenger Zaph gave the same answer!

Here's out full set of final round scores:

    Question 10: Misc

    aaronjennings
    davetherave
    Green&Red

    tringle

    Salvador Dali - 5
    BuileBeag

    Malcolm X - 3
    Collie D

Clearly it was deliberate alright. I wonder did they not realize that you get penalised for a wrong answer in PEEHS.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,359 ✭✭✭davetherave

Well done to Collie D who gets a good Ace here with Parnell. Unlucky here for Hello 2D and davetherave, who both had the right idea when it came to guessing Parnell* but landed on the wrong name.

*unless they were looking at someone else, in which case they were horrible guesses!!

Yeah it was Parnell who I thought was FSS.

It's amazing how quickly the points add up when you get a few sheep in this thing. :o

Before I reveal the full results, well done to HeidiHeidi for getting the sole Ace in the final round:

    ACES - 1:

    Michel Barnier - HeidiHeidi

Bit feckin' late, though, sez you!

Couldn't even manage a decent jab at the wooden spoon.

    Ah well. Next time.

Did I get third? I can't remember ever being in contention in Peehs nor the last podium finish I had on here. Please be third.

Well done Reb (he or she) that is quite the comprehensive victory

    Kudos

    Cheers Homer for running it

Well played Reb, a commanding win!

Great work Homer, thanks for that. Although I'm convinced that whoever invented Picture Peehs is an evil sociopath, hell bent on destroying the sanity of all those who ride the good ship Forum Games! And you're complicit :pac:
    Yep, I know

Congratulations also to our silver medallist Zaph and our bronze medallist Sheridan81.

Special shout-out to our reigning champ Green&Red for a very respectable joint-4th place showing, and to Also Starring LeVar Burton for tying with our champ in 4th place.

At the bottom of the table, we thank LadySkunk for her very memorable contributions. Hers is the Wooden Spoon of Shame.

But I think we need a separate category for our best worst serious player - hence congratulations Deleted User, for his is the Wooden Spoon of Triumph!

Big thank you to everyone who participated and who tuned in tonight. Hope ye enjoyed it. Maybe I'll be back next March for International Women's Day Quiz No. 2. :D

Here's your final table; I've got one more beer left, so off I go to the fridge.

I've never heard of Bob Ross. Well done to the winner and wooden spooner and thanks Homer-if I'm on the podium in peehs for the first time that is. :)

    Edit: yes! :-)

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,293 ✭✭✭Reberetta

Grazie for the great game H.J.F and for accepting some misspellings and surnames only.

I'm going to run a Picture Peehs extravaganza of my own soon folks, so stay tuned! :D

    Congrats Reb!

    Great game Homer.

I'm happy with a respectable joint 4th finish, after going for the most obvious option for much of the game.

    Congrats to winner.

Thanks for running, Homer. Enjoyed the commentary.

    Congratulations Reb, very good performance.

Thank you very much for organising Homer, this was very enjoyable.

I've never come within sniffing distance of the podium for a PEEHS, so delighted with second. But congratulations Reb, some quality answers from a well deserved winner.

And thanks for the game Homer, really enjoyed it.

Yours was actually one of the earliest entries I received, and you were far ahead for almost the whole time that submissions were open.

I was sure I'd be awarding you the trophy, but Reberetta's was the second-last entry I received and just undercut you at the very end.

He does a lovely version of Raglan Road, shame his statue is always vandalised though. :( :pac:

Bang average performance from me, as usual

It was Henry Kissinger who lost it for me in the end, I scored 8 for him. I was hoping for a younger crowd who hopefully mightn't have recognised him. But Reb had some great answers and is a very deserving winner.

Congrats to Reb, a dominant display.

And thanks to Homer for running a fine ship, I forgot all about this and just popped in now to catch up.

I have enough wooden spoons now to build a nice decking out the back.
