After my error with Time Magazine I've double and triple checked the options here and can confirm that they are all definitely fictional.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Farquaad Lord Mayor of Cork?

Well done to Collie D who gets a good Ace here with Parnell. Unlucky here for Hello 2D and davetherave, who both had the right idea when it came to guessing Parnell* but landed on the wrong name.

*unless they were looking at someone else, in which case they were horrible guesses!!

I'm going to make a judge's call here and award LadySkunk an Ace; as nobody went for Paul Mescal, I deem her answer to be an acceptable synonym.

Hard luck to ...Diamonds of Frost, who had done very well up until now but perhaps focused too much on just the hair in the last round!

I thought Reb was a 'he', though I could be wrong - they're welcome to correct me if they see this! :)

You are definitely correct on one thing though - Reb's lead was unsurmountable. Not only does Malcolm X score a healthily low 3 points, but Reb's closest challenger Zaph gave the same answer!

Which means, our International Men's Day PEEHS champion is.....

Congratulations also to our silver medallist Zaph and our bronze medallist Sheridan81.

Special shout-out to our reigning champ Green&Red for a very respectable joint-4th place showing, and to Also Starring LeVar Burton for tying with our champ in 4th place.

At the bottom of the table, we thank LadySkunk for her very memorable contributions. Hers is the Wooden Spoon of Shame.

But I think we need a separate category for our best worst serious player - hence congratulations Deleted User, for his is the Wooden Spoon of Triumph!

Big thank you to everyone who participated and who tuned in tonight. Hope ye enjoyed it. Maybe I'll be back next March for International Women's Day Quiz No. 2. :D

Yours was actually one of the earliest entries I received, and you were far ahead for almost the whole time that submissions were open.

I was sure I'd be awarding you the trophy, but Reberetta's was the second-last entry I received and just undercut you at the very end.

It was Henry Kissinger who lost it for me in the end, I scored 8 for him. I was hoping for a younger crowd who hopefully mightn't have recognised him. But Reb had some great answers and is a very deserving winner.
