United got hacked last night but say they're confident game v West Brom can go ahead

I've a feeling that Spurs will beat Man City today.

Typical Jose sit back and 3 counter attacks. The Spurs players seem to that clinical form where they only need the couple of chances. They are well used to the Jose set up now and the wildcard in Bale too off the bench.

Maybe a stupid question but why would a cyber attack affect the fixture going ahead or not?

I was thinking the same. But I suppose the hackers could get control of internal systems etc? Be funny if they switched on the sprinkler system mid game :pac:

Interesting to see Stephen Clemence on the touchline with Steve Bruce at the end of the week in which his Dad died. Good on him.

I'm beginning to wonder if Werner is all that clever a footballer. He's consistenly made bad decisions today.

Maybe it's just a matter of nerves and not being settled in yet, but that was absolute rubbish turning down a shot on goal in favour of trying to roll it across to who I assume was Abrams there.

Cracking run and pass by Werner to set up Chelsea's second.

The more we get into the season, the more Chelsea look like the real thing.

    Liverpool scouts again?

The state of Man U's transfer business over the last decade I bloody hope not.

Good overturn by the ref due to VAR

Interesting decision. He did clip the ball first.

Yeah, tough one to judge tbh. It wasn't one where you clip the ball and clean the man out with a wreckless follow through. Still somewhat surprised they overturned it though.

I know he's a media darling but there's a nasty element to Lamptey. Probably should have been sent off the last day as well, and he seems to get away with a lot because he's a little person.

Simon Harris is monitoring the situation...

    Or because he's English

    He's not exactly Warwick Davis.

Peter Walton : VAR's job is NOT to get the correct decision, just to point out clear and obvious errors. What a load of bollox tbh.

Time for Spurs to really show thier credentials here today. Have had a very wide spectrum of performances this season but think the ability in this side should easily see them top 3 and perhaps injury dependent a real crack at the title.

Ndombele very impressive at times this year, if he can add consistency I'd say he'll oust Pogba of a starting berth at the Euros.

If that Villa incident is not considered a foul, it must stand that if a player knocks the ball past a defender at any time and is obstructed, it's not a foul as long as the defender got a touch on the ball as it went past him?

Or is there some aspect to that I'm not thinking of? I honestly thought it was as stonewall a penalty as you'll see.

A minutes applause in an empty stadium is weird

Random question, but is that "winter break" happening this year or is it gone out the window due to covid?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,033 ✭✭✭✭Richard Hillman

I always have to laugh when Sky play the canned applause after the players bend the knee. They know full well they're getting booed when the crowd come back :pac:

Shouldn't be a penalty, complete overacting by the Villa player, should be a yellow card IMHO.
