    They didn't.

    3 of my best friends live abroad and they all choose to go in order to advance themselves in their careers. They would have work here but fancied another way of life.

    It wasn't cos they were on the fcukin breadline.

    Have a relative who worked there, family in tow. Some hair raising stories. Iraq was like living in paradise by comparison, and Egypt tolerable. Was working to be able to afford the luxury house they aspired to have in Ireland, not because they couldn't have afforded an ordinary gaff.
