D4 is awful but a toned down one is not bad but only on a girl. It sounds so childish imo and I have the accent(sort of)
A good example is that Niamh one from fair city and her silly covid ads where she tries to sound like a 14 year old.

Donegal/Derry accent is nice eg Nadine Coyle, the Northern accent gets a bit too strong though once you travel east though towards the Antrim side.

Indeed, I actually think this has EVERYTHING to do with how 'nice' an accent is, you could literally put any accent on Paul - and because the inside of his brain is so wholesome, his 'accent' would sound 'nice'. In other words, 'nice' 'accents' are absolute nonsense, it is ALL about whose head the voice is coming out of, in my very honest opinion.

Hmmm...dunno. David Beckham is a really nice guy but his voice/accent is painful.

Agree. A midlands girl who didn't stay too long! No, "Oh hoi goys" D4 bollox either. I'd say she'd know how to boil a golden wonder for her man too. Can't bate it.

I think old Pierce Brosnan has quite the silky voice. OK so he only lived in Ireland until he was 12 and then moved to England. He's still Irish though.

Politics aside, I think I could listen for hours to Gerry Adams. He could be talking about stamp collecting or basket weaving or course fishing. I wouldn't care. I just think he sounds great.

Interesting, I don't find her attractive at all.
    I suppose I should, but I don't.

Say what you like about him but Ryan Tubridy has a lovely accent.

Of which the members of The Irish Deaf Society unanimously agreed with.

Sadly missed , I loved listening to Marian Finucane puffing on fags and winding up spoofers, she was a national charm.
