Do you think it’s safe to leave out Quistclose trusts for equity tomorrow? Under a bit of time pressure

Yep it came up as a note in March so I’m leaving it out

Is the following enough for equity do you think? I'm so stuck for time. My other 3 took up too much of my study time and I've left this exam:

    Specific Performance
    Estoppel
    Tracing
    Trustees
    Charitable trusts
Strong v bird, DMC, Hastings Bass rule
Recission and undue influence (not well at all)
    Mandatory interlocutory injunctions, QT injunctions.

Is there anything else that is quick and easy to cover?

If you haven’t got cy pres in with charitable I’d cover it. It’s short and hasn’t been up since October 2018. Also rectification came up as a problem q mixed with specific performance before so maybe have a few short lines on it just in case.

Has non-est factum appeared as part of common mistake problem questions or as a standalone essay? My grid is out of date and not too detailed!

I agree with the topics others have suggested as a bare minimum. I'm also trying to squeeze in void contracts for a little while the night/morning before.

Would you include commercial contracts in an essay q on contracts for personal service or limit to employment situations ? Can’t see if including them is allowed from the exam reports

Hi, I passed EU last year so thank God, I'm no longer familiar with it but here's my guess from looking at the August 2020 paper...

1 PQ on a fictional directive
    2. EQ re human rights
    3. ?? PQ re medicinal products
    4. EQ on whether the TFEU "currently provides an adequae system of legal protection" for those seeking judicial review (EU acts and third parties)
    5. PQ Dutcnational living in in Belgium -- Citizen question
    6. EQ re 101.1 TFEU and 102
    7. Case note (8 caes). Dorsch Consult appeared and Pringle so prob rule them out for the next one.
    8. FMG problem question re wine. Arts 30 and 110. If anyone's done Brendan's course, it's pretty much the example he used!

Has come up as standalone essay I believe!

    Contract

March 2020 Q1 City colleges say it was offer and acceptance but I think it looks like mostly statue of frauds? Memorandum, deposit discussion similar facts to Supermac's case etc. I wish the examiners report was out :(

I think I would list it as a type of specific performance but say for the purposes of the essay I won't be discussing it in detail. There seem to be notes in the reports that they don't like extra bits being added in and they are separate.

My grid (not sure which company made it as I got sent it) says Q1 was formal requirements so I think you're right!

Would I be covered for contract with:
    Offer and Acceptance
    Consideration
    Estoppel
    Terms
    Exemption Clauses
    Consumer Protection
    Misrepresentation
    Mistake
    Discharge
    Remedies

Or is there something vital I'm leaving out?

Came up as part of a problem question the most recent time as far as I can remember! More likely as a problem question I would say!

More than enough I think - I’m covering the same minus discharge

35 mins per question then moving on to the next. What ever time left over I can go back.

If you take 10 mins to read the paper you have 40 mins per question - same as any other exam :)
