I hope Sterling 'goes down easy' next time, he should have done there and they have a free in a decent position and that break doesnt happen

    Another peno for Liverpool

City complaining Ref missed the foul earlier in the move on Sterling

If he went to ground he would have gotten it

    Well taken by Salah

Defo a free on Sterling, should've been given, in fairness.

Mane's was less obvious, but was nudged.

Everything above is correct. And I suppose that’s why players go to ground easily.

Classic case of if you don’t go down, you don’t get.

    Stupid challenge by Walker then.

Yep, Pawson's a poor ref. City hard-done by there, don't mind saying it.

Liverpool looking a lot sharper all round here

It is now, the benefit of a natural striker being back.

Took that really well, good goal. Poor from Trent, gives him too much space

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,142 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

Thats a fluke of a goal.

That' was super all round from Jesus.

    City with the momentum now.

Is it not the exact opposite of a fluke? Well spotted pass, excellent turn, and excellent finish..

The touch was the best thing about Jesus goal. No matter how close the defender was to him the touch was getting him through.

  • Moderators, Regional East Moderators Posts: 23,255 Mod ✭✭✭✭GLaDOS

Even if he didn't mean the first touch exactly like that, he reacted to it and finished superbly.

Some will try to discredit the goal as if he didn’t mean to take the touch.

The simple reply to that is; He’s Brazilian, of course he meant it.

Torres has been invisible so far

    That's a penalty.

    Penalty surely

Be ridiculous if this is not given considering the Leicester peno earlier

    It's a penalty.

Even trying to pull his arm away but will probably be given.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,255 ✭✭✭eigrod

Definitely a pen by today’s standards

It's ridiculous, but it's given if they're to be consistent
