Barring someone coughing on you, it's all innocent.

So you have no issue with the "innocent" who wandered about while infected and waiting for a result? Or the lad who thought he was too good for quarantine and spread it around, is he innocent?

This thread is so quiet lately, are people just fed up with it at this stage, same at work, ever since level 5 came in, people are like ya whatever I couldn't give a **** what nphet and the government say anymore, ill just do the things I'm supposed to do. I was getting angry and frustrated when level 5 came in but I honestly not too bothered with the whole thing anymore and it seems its evident by this thread.

And evident on the ground people aren't paying a blind bit of attention to the restrictions this time. Roads are busy, shops are busy.

If that's the case what's causing the numbers to drop so much over the past few weeks?

    Driving and shopping aren't prohibited....

Town is fairly full, good few bars serving pints in plastic cups and lads drinking on the streets.

Unless they deliberately and knowingly gave it to someone else, then innocent, yes.

Despite the fact they ignored being told to isolate?

Amazing the lengths people go to avoid responsibility and consequences of their actions.

If someone is speeding and accidentally causes a car crash, are they innocent?

They'll be the same people complaining about more restrictions, shop closures and the hit the economy takes. Short sighted buffoons.

It's technically not illegal though, as pubs allowed to sell takeaway and no rule saying you can't have a drink on a wall from what I gather.

Happening near me too, but generally distanced groups of 3/4 that know each other, so no rules being broken, though it does seem to be stretching things in terms of Level 5. Perhaps not much risk outside.

Its a tough one, it may be legal but is it right to be gathering in public places. A poster on here made a good point recently, basically we need to stop saying its various restrictions that are or aren't working and that really it comes down to whether we are or aren't acting responsibly. Whether its level 5 or 2, we still need to be keeping distance from people and being cautious.

I don't necessarily agree but if they are it's thanks to the antics of such people.

Perhaps it is due to the actions of some.

The fact there is no end until long after a vaccine is approved is loosing buy in

Whole of Dublin is like this tonight, was in Blackrock this morning and the whole village was like an open air festival it was bonkers! Went to two pubs later on in the evening for takeaway drink and the car parks outside them were absolutely packed, about a hundred people sitting by the river in Osheas Clonskeagh, and loads sitting by the river outside by dropping well milltown too
. These are pretty random /very local watering holes so I can't imagine what more well known places were like with nice public spaces outside them. People really making do with very little from what I saw today :P
Most people had masks and all outdoors, what harm

A bunch of manic killers? :D You're exaggerating. I relayed my personal experience and noted that they tend not to respect the 2metre guideline, that is all. It certainly isn't "going on about" and as for alleged going on being "needless" well in fairness, have you seen the rest of the thread? Hardly save the world stuff :)

From your hyper defensive reaction, one can only assume you're either a cyclist or a jogger :D

Yeah, I guess they got the story a bit wrong there.

Hopefully the Danes can contain it, which might be possible if they did the contact tracing properly.
