Honestly? My immune system was run down for a day got some rest back to good shape the next , and I was ment to take a test for that. so getting what felt like a common cold to me also from overworking and prob alot to do with bad diet, I should have took a test put my partner out of work for 2weeks and stopped my children from going to school. I'm truly baffled so what happened to the common cold and flu?

My exposure to COVID19 was from someone with zero symptoms, the index case of the cluster of over 15 people assumed they had a 'cold' that the shook within a day. You should have gotten tested, yes, and if needed stopped your partner attending work for a couple of days (max) until you were proven to be negative, same for your kids. (If you had symptoms of suggestive of COVID19 - I didn't read all your posts on this.)

I can't understand why people post videos to Twitter/Facebook from their hospital bed.

I know if I was in hospital it's the last thing I'd be thinking of.

It strikes me as shameless attention seeking.

Maybe I'm in the minority, I don't know.

Maybe they are trying to send out a warning to people to take the virus as a serious threat.

Yeah some pretty shocking video coming out from what's going on there now. I didn't know much about the industry but for the sake of a fancy coat it's a disgrace. We were great at pointing the finger at the Chinese and their wet markets. Not hard to see how it would mutate.

This industry should have been outlawed decades ago.

The workers killing the mink in Denmark have better PPE than our ICU nurses had in the TV series shown some months ago !

Their powered air purifying respirators and full PPE for airborne infection contrasts with our ICU nurses who had PPE suitable only for droplet infection.

Course they have, why are you surprised? I still think the PPE the hospitals here have is totally inadequate, and it has to be dumped and replaced between each patient too. Feel sorry for our nurses and doctors, they’re just expected to get on with it.

We really look to bee doing well relatively on the numbers front.

UK just announced Germany and Sweden to be on the quarantine list there from this weekend. Belgium and France are sadly off the scale.

Same and don't forget North Carolina.

I have turned very religious this week with all the praying. Prayers for good Covid figures and for the end of Trump.

Yep belgian and French icu are overwhelmed with broken legs and car accident victims who happened to test positive I've heard , such a farce this whole thing

This 'thing' is far from a farce!!!

It took 114 days (from 8th December 2019 in Wohan, China to April 2nd 2020) for the virus to reach it's first 1 million reported cases.

It now takes less than 48 hours for one million cases to be reported worldwide.

There have been 1,235,185 deaths reported among 48,729,589 cases worldwide.

There have been 1,930 deaths reported in this state among our 63,483 cases.

The pandemic is accelerating and getting worse...

It's a pity we still have to put up with alternative reality nonsense like the above !

October is only 5 days ago, that caveat is hardly necessary.

Expect to see mink on a lot of Danish Christmas dinner tables this year. It would be a shame to waste it, maybe they'll disguise it like was done with horse meat a few years back, or maybe it will find it's way into new nordic cuisine, after all it's produced locally.

Is this not the second time in 3 days (the day we had 700+) that there has been a backlog?

I believe Listowel in Kerry has a nursing home cluster
